21. I've got it!
Tuesday, 14 November 2006

Okay, I keep searching for topics, and I've found the perfect one-my crazy dreams.  I totally know my subconscious is telling me something every night.  Like last night, I dreamt about getting Botox and Mike calling in sick because he didn't want to drive in the snow.  Weird I know, but let me analyze.  I'm going to be turning 29 in December, so I'm beginning to feel old, hence the Botox portion.  Also, as a side note, on a TV show last night, a girl was talking about her crows feet....so there ya go.  On the topic of Mike calling in sick, well, he does that all the time.  Just kidding!  Any input?

22. Speaking of people being dumb...
Friday, 10 November 2006

I agree with Sandra that people are mostly nice and good.  But why do we focus so much on the dumb things people do?  Is it because we only have 30% of their actions to make us laugh because the other 70% of stuff they do is totally normal?  And who decides what's dumb?  If that job is open, I would like to take it.

23. TV's getting to me
Tuesday, 31 October 2006

So, I do watch a lot of tv, but last night I dreamt that Grey's Anatomy got cancelled because the cast couldn't get along.  This all stems from the fact that I couldn't find Studio 60 at the Sunset Strip last night, and began wondering if it was over.  Then, all my magazines have been talking about the cast of Grey's and I'm really trying to get into it, so I had this dream.   Yes, about television.  I even want a TiVo so I won't miss any of the important shows, like "The Duel" on MTV (because apparently all good shows must be on Thursdays so i can't possibly catch them all!)  I'm officially lame.  Mom, Dad, please forgive me...

24. Why Don't Parents watch their kids?
Tuesday, 22 August 2006

So, I was also at New West Fest this weekend and noticed that their are a lot of parents that let their children (like 10-12 year olds) spend the day alone, unsupervised, with 100,000 strangers.  Why is that? Does that seem like a good idea?  First of all, when you get a group of 5 kids together, they are really annoying to the rest of the world.  Besides being really annoying, don't parents worry about their kids and wonder what they are doing and if they are being kidnapped or something?  And that brings me to another thing.  I saw a screaming girl being dragged (sort of) down the street.  So, do I stop the guy who's taking this crying screaming girl, or do I glare at him because if he isn't kidnapping her and she is actually his child, then he obviously needs to discipline her?  And this is why I don't have kids......

25. I don't understand gamers...
-

I just have a question about how people can spend hours upon hours playing video games....Do your eyes hurt? Do you feel like a real, live, breathing human being when you haven't seen the outdoor world in days? But, I guess even though I don't understand it, you have others out there just like you.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
