Q: My problem is simple. I have really bad knees. I have pain whenever I run and knee braces don’t help. Over the past couple of years I’ve ballooned to 275 pounds where I was at 200-215 pounds before. What are some exercises I can do to lose weight and get back down to the 200-pound range without killing my knees?

Q: Hi Rocco, I am in a total rut when it comes to working out. I work out regularly four times a week, doing intense cardio kickboxing. I still find I have lost little body fat and little weight. |

Q: Rocco, I just turned 32 and after having my fourth child last year I have noticed that my vagina is really loose and both my husband and I do not enjoy sex as much as we used to. Are there any exercises that I can do to tighten my vagina. All I do now is attend a spinning classes 3-4 times a week and chase down four kids.

Q: Both my wife and I are former college athletes. In the mid ’90s, I rode the pine for several uneventful seasons in the Continental Basketball Association. We both continue to stay in good shape, mainly jogging, biking and lifting. Our two kids are 7 and 9 and they both want to be like mom and dad and want to exercise with us. With the obesity epidemic affecting children, how young is too young for them to start exercising and at what level or intensity? And don’t get me wrong, I’d much rather my kids become doctors or lawyers than professional athletes. It really took its toll on me.

Q: You’ve mentioned before that people shouldn’t work out to lose weight, but instead to lose fat. I recently started working out again, and I’m curious how I should measure my progress without focusing on weight.
