Neptune, ruler of dreams and spiritual dimensions, is always finding ways to bring human love closer to the divine. He's thought to be a higher octave of Venus, though a manlier version to be sure. Neptune goes retrograde now, asking us to review our relationship fantasies and decide whether it's time to dispel them or hang on tight. |

You've heard it takes 21 days to change a habit, but do you know why? It's tied to the 28-day lunar cycle. Today's Virgo first-quarter moon implores us to "change, organize, eliminate!" Actions undertaken at first quarter have roots — we've got the wherewithal to just do it. In 21 days' time (new moon), you'll have kicked that habit! |

The Leo moon encourages playful exuberance. The reason most people don't play enough is out of a fear of doing it wrong or looking foolish. Have you ever paused a DVD to observe the funny looks that cross the faces of those in the picture? Life is a series of awkward moments that, when blurred together, create something presentable. |

When Uranus tussles with Mercury his insights can be as revelatory as they are uncomfortable. With the slip of the tongue the unexpected rolls right off it: "Did I just say that?" But we're closer to the rebellious truth. Rebel mama Angelina Jolie says it well, "I may have been reckless, but I'm not a rebel without a cause." |

The Gemini moon is infinitely curious. There's nothing he won't put his nose in just to find out what's going on. The nose knows! And he knows because he follows it. By putting two and two together, the Gemini moon makes those synthetic connections he's so adept at making. For a fresh new spin, look at what's right in front of your nose. |

Everyone needs money, honey. Thank heavens for the Taurus new moon, replenishing our bank accounts with green bills and renewing the earth with green leaves. If nature has a coin, it must be the beauty of springtime. Our earthly coin is our industriousness, our ability to turn raw inspiration into something we can hold. |

Mars in Aries is lawless. As the brawny Roman warrior with no scruples, every military leader wanted this brute on his team because he loved winning at all costs. At best, he's pure energy, motivating us to move through obstacles by endowing us with courage and fearlessness. Give Mars permission to invigorate your goals. |

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
