No matter how easy it is to push aside uncomfortable emotions, the Scorpio moon makes a compelling case for coming clean. Some desires are worth acting on because they make you feel whole, but others sidetrack. Sure, you could contact an ex, but what are your motives? Conclusions are reached when the moon moves into Sagittarius. |

Life's a thrilling invitation during the full moon in Scorpio. There's no subject too taboo to talk about, either (a comforting thought for the truth-tellers). If your life resembles an episode of "Desperate Housewives," with requisite passion, betrayal and secrets, turn up the volume and don't worry about what the neighbors will think. |

May Day celebrates spring's halfway mark and the renewing power of the season in all her colorful glory. The exuberance of Mars and Jupiter brings out the overachievers and wheeler-dealers like a game show host who promises fantastic prizes. But will he deliver? With a little luck and a lot of work, we reckon anything's possible. Venus and Neptune soothe our spirits with a song of acceptance: "Que sera, sera. Whatever will be, will be." |

The moon in Libra flutters about, and because the planets are relatively quiet today, she's unfettered by distraction. Air signs, like Libra, are windy and changeable — in one swoop they're capable of wiping out stale or negative energy. So fly your kite, either figuratively or really. Watch the winds carry your worries away and lift your spirit. |

Many awaken this morning with the kind of sweet hangover Diana Ross once sang that she didn't want to get over. Temptress Venus seduced Jupiter into the wee hours, and our dreams rang out with the kind of vibrancy that is more electrifying than restful. Luckily, the moon moves from Virgo into Libra to help restore the balance. |

The earthy energies of Mercury and the sun in Taurus, along with the Virgo moon attempt to keep us focused on efficiency and making things work. We see what's right under our noses, a plant that needs water or bills that need to be paid, but when the phone rings, we go running toward unplanned distractions. They're enjoyable ones. |

A complex and melodic cacophony of the senses bursts onto the scene today. Venus in Gemini gets her hands into everything, a concert pianist stimulating conversations and curiosities, while Uranus contributes an unusually rowdy crescendo. Changes of heart make life diverse and exciting, so says this song of love and freedom. |

Can't keep your hands out of the cookie jar? Just knowing treats were nearby had you sneaking over when Mom wasn't looking. Today, ribald Mercury in Aries coaxes Pluto to dig into juicy, compelling territory. Forget about keeping those conspiratorial cookie raids a secret. Just like Mom, everyone's got eyes in the back of their heads. |

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
