The most winning moves to be made today aren't the reactive ones, but the proactive ones. And when in doubt, just remember Descartes answer to it all -- "I think, therefore I am." |

Mercury and Saturn are at it again. A terse astral conversation activates the feisty side of each planet -- our human conversations get a bit testy as well. |

Whether tricks or treats are in store for you, the close alignment of Mercury and Jupiter brings it on strong. Since the planets aren't into moderation now, the best way to prevent getting too much of a bad or good thing is to get none at all. |

Stay in denial that anything less than fortunate can happen. If you believe enough in optimism, you get plenty of evidence to support that, too. |

Just in time to make things really scary for Halloween, Mercury goes retrograde. Though communication won't be as smooth, it's no cause for panic. On the brighter side, if you're planning a few tricks, they'll probably turn out so well that they'll be talked about for years to come. |

Venus, Mars and the sun all get cozy together around the Libra/Scorpio border. Our identities are so wrapped up in what others think of us -- a human condition exacerbated by these stellar conjunctions. You can overcome the need for approval by approving of yourself first. |

With Venus and Mars so close on the border of Libra and Scorpio, there's some delicious confusion about the states of infatuation and love. A pursuit isn't a relationship, but it sure starts the story of a relationship off with a bang. |

Jupiter and Saturn have had a touchy relationship this year and continue to argue now. There has been some doubt as to whether there's enough money, food, good weather and smiles to go around. One only needs to count the stars on a clear night to know that the universe abides by the law of ridiculous abundance. |

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
