It is the clichéd story of a rock band: A few guys get together and play. They write a few songs. They actually get into a studio to record them. But no record ever comes of it. Matt Thornton has been there before. Guitarist and vocalist in the band Motorhome, a Fort Collins favorite for the past two years, Thornton will finally erase that story from his resumé. |

Matt Damon rarely stops moving in "The Bourne Ultimatum": He's constantly running or jumping or punching, and when he does stand still long enough to say something, it's always in clipped, impatient sentences, as if he can hardly wait to quit gabbing and get going again. |

To reach Little Feat keyboardist Bill Payne by phone, you must know his secret alter ego. That won’t be revealed here, but for Payne, it does prevent those 9:30 a.m. wake up calls that are “about 12 hours before I have to go to work.” |

Bratz," a live-action movie based on a set of dolls who have also inspired assorted animated direct-to-video releases, isn't all that. With those bubble-gum origins, it never was going to be much. |

While AC/DC was the quintessential power rock band known for its straight-ahead assault on the senses through loud riffing and bombastic vocals, there is nothing that says women can’t rock just as hard. |

Juruseh Hill doesn’t want to give an oral dissertation on why his art is, well, art. He’d rather the pieces just be appreciated and taken in without overblown explanations. |

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
