Alright, so we've all been out drinking. Most of us have probably done the cheap drink night special where Karaoke songs are played at disturbing levels; (to those who aren't buzzed). Karaoke songs can make or break a night. But GREAT karaoke songs; whether they are sung horribly or angelically, make a night everytime. Here's my list of can't go wrong songs. And the question arises; Could this also be the greatest iTunes songlist of all-time? Just think of the Hallmark memories!
15. Take it on the Run By REO Speedwagon
14. Yellow Submarine By The Beatles
13. Rainy Day Woman #12 & 35 By Bob Dylan
12. I Will Survive By Gloria Naylor
11. Sweet Home Alabama By Lynyrd Skynyrd
10. Friends In Low Places By (I have no idea, it's country; but I know the song by heart!)
9. Living on a Prayer By Bon Jovi ( I Hate Bon Jovi, but again, memorized)
8. Rocket Man ( I Think Its going to be a Long long Time) By Elton John
7. Where Everybody Knows Your Name By Gary Portnoy
6. Brown Eyed Girl By Van Morrison
5. We Didn't Start the Fire By Billy Joel
4. Folsom Prison Blues By Johnny Cash
3. Don't Stop Believeing By Journey
2. American Pie By Don McLean
1. Piano Man By Billy Joel
Can't stand that I left you and your buddies favorite 'let's get wasted and sing themesong?' Let me know what it is? I would hate to leave any out because of bad recall and drink specials!!

Karaoke + drink specials = fun Written by Danielle the intern on 2007-02-12 12:27:09 I love karaoke especially when there's a good drink special involved. I had to add "It's Raining Men" by the weather girls to the list. As for number twelve isn't it Gloria Gaynor? Also, I must disagree with American Pie because though it has a fun chorus, the versus make for an awkward lull when they start to drag on and the singer is still belting it out on stage. Has anyone done karoke at the Armadillo? How is it? | Honorable Mentions? Written by Drew on 2007-01-15 17:54:20 Some friends have let me know of songs left out that they enjoy. "I want you to want me." "Baby got back." & "Redneck woman"--is this really popular? I hate that song... | FYI Written by Erin on 2007-01-15 12:33:57 Number 10 is by Garth Brooks. Greatest country song ever! Thanks for the list. |

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36) writen by: Drew What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |
