Q: You could be a great help to people who are overweight and suffering, but I think you’re the one who needs a bit of an attitude adjustment.
Why name [your blog] “fatpeoplearestupid.com”? Are you really under the impression that being fat has something to do with your powers of intellect? You are so full of yourself nothing can penetrate that veneer of stupidity that surrounds your school of thought. Your mother must be really proud of you. :(

A: I love when people who actually don’t know what they’re talking about write in without doing any research. It just shows that stupid comes in many sizes, and yours is 24 carat.
Stupid has nothing to do with intellect, it has everything to do with attitude. Sweetheart, stupid and fat are both a “state of mind” and an “attitude.” To change anything in our life, we need to first change our attitude toward it. Changing our attitude allows us the opportunity to look outside the “prison wall” mentality that has created the fatness which incarcerates us.
My powers of intellect will never come into play when it comes to YOUR attitude. I wonder if you’ve ever done any of these things:
Spent hundreds of dollars on vitamin supplements because you thought they would help you lose weight? STUPID! Bought a Health Rider because you thought you would use it and didn’t? STUPID! Purchased a treadmill for a couple of grand just to watch everyone use it to hang their dry cleaning? STUPID! Maybe you purchased a lifetime membership to Bally’s 10 years ago and still haven’t gone. Oh, that’s right: STUPID!
When we stop feeling sorry for ourselves and develop an attitude that warrants us to be Americans and the superpower that we are, then and only then will I believe we have won the war against STUPIDITY.
Do you understand that 65 percent of us are fat, not obese? And that only about 15 percent to 20 percent of us are actually obese?
So, that means, with a little movement and some education, 45 percent of Americans have a fighting chance of not becoming obese. I like those odds. Only 25 years ago, 20 percent of us were considered fat (and 10 percent obese), and you don’t think there’s anything wrong with that? Sorry about your luck!

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | Hola Amigos! I'm Sandra. I like to believe that people are 70 percent good and 30 percent dumb. I'm stickin to that story. Reading this blog might make you want to be good, but probably just dumb. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
