It is the eve of the full moon in creative Leo. Is there an inner artist ready to burst out of you? Is there a poem buried in your being? A song? A story? A doodle? The ideas are churning in the subconscious, ready to leap at the slightest provocation. Place yourself among the people whom you find most inspiring.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You're in transition. Suddenly what you wanted before seems trivial as a meaningful quest calls you. Old friends validate the old you, while new friends praise the new you.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The light at the end of the tunnel could be something awesome, or it could be an oncoming train, which is also awesome — a powerful force you may want to climb aboard.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You're looking for ways to exhibit your independence. If you're not radical, you won't be noticed. So you shock and thrill and are received with both excitement and fear. It's hard to tell the difference.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Tap into your spirit of adventure. Explore your interest in dance, comedy or art. This brings lucky friendships into your realm. Career shifts are happening, too — a coveted position is now available.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You want to arrive at a certain destination with a loved one. Getting there without this person just wouldn't be the same. So put petty differences aside, and focus on the bigger goals you've set for your relationship.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Jan. 31). You know your own mind, but you're also willing to change it. Because you're so open, by spring, new beliefs rock you to the core! February is rich with love, sweet love. In May, your career course is fortuitously altered. Purchase big-ticket items in July. August reconnects you with people from your past. Cancer and Libra ties are divine. VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Life is a game. Your enjoyment of the game depends on your ability to pick your teammates. You don't need to put up with someone who isn't sure of you. But a Capricorn person is sure of you — this much is obvious.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Romance flutters into your life, greatly affecting your schedule and your priorities. You can't help what your heart is drawn to, but you can protect yourself by being slow to commit. Put off big decisions.

PERSONALITY OF A PLANET: VENUS
Venus, the love planet, is the brightest beauty in the sky. We've been admiring her for ages. Well, it's easy to admire someone so much like yourself — she's practically a twin with the earth.
She's just about the same size, and she orbits the sun at nearly the same distance. One ancient civilization called her Ishtar, "love goddess ascending," another called her Nin-si-anna, "defender of heaven," and the Persians called her Anahita, "fruitful one." ... What did they all have in common?
They all saw her as
1) a divine beauty, 2) the brightest and fairest of all, and 3) the great mother.
As seen from the earth, she spends about nine months as the morning star and nine months as the evening star, the same amount of time as human gestation. When Venus is in a fire sign (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), she emanates passionate intensity. When she's in an earth sign (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn), she's honest and true, showing her love in practical ways. When she's in an air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius), she's funny and charming. And when she's in a water sign (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces), she's intuitive.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Talk-show multimedia goddess Oprah Winfrey proves that a genuine positive spirit ensures a lifetime of success. The responsibility of reaching out and helping people by the millions is a daunting task, but the divine Winfrey handles it like the true humbled pro she is. Her much-lauded generosity is a fine illustration of Aquarian "water bearer" humanitarianism.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
