The moon shifts from Scorpio to Sagittarius, the sign of adventure. Go have one! Travel is favored, whether by train, plane or automobile. It doesn't even matter where you're going because all the fun is in the transition. If you start out alone, you'll wind up with new friends. And if you start out with friends, you'll wind up with more.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Loved ones surprise you with bursts of generosity. This inspires you to respond in kind. But before you do, celebrate what's offered to you. A joyful reception is a gift in and of itself.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). If someone else were to live this day in your life, they might have a big reaction to what happens this afternoon. But for you, these types of events have become commonplace. Consider how you feel about this.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You can usually handle disagreements by yourself and with the help of your core supporters. However, a special situation arises in which you could benefit from the help of an expert.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). If you want serenity, you must ruthlessly control your environment. Leave the freeway, television and tunes behind. You learn all you need to know by listening to the sound of silence.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Your generosity knows no limits; not so for your bank account. Make a budget and stick to it. The best gift you can give loved ones is the respect of your attention and pleasant attitude.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Feb. 10). You often mix business and pleasure this year, and the result is that you do what you love and love what you do. A kindred spirit becomes a champion of your project in March. You acquire what you need to make a fabulous deal in April. Your love life is the biggest thrill this summer. Your connections with Aries and Sagittarius people are divine. Lucky numbers are: 8, 25, 15, 39 and 1.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're doing your part — and his part, and her part, and their part Ö A colleague is able to slide by because you cover the deficit. Resist the impulse to make up for others. You may actually hurt someone by helping.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Someone who reminds you of yourself has the power to move you like no one else could, both in positive and negative ways. You're especially creative tonight. Cancer and Leo people inspire you.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). When the schedule changes, people cancel on you or disappoint you. It's all positive stuff, though, because it's a chance to prove that you can always depend on yourself, and have a fabulous time doing so.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Think twice before you get into a vehicle. Not because anything bad will happen, but because a walk outdoors does wonders for your soul. You solve problems as you pound the pavement.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You can find beauty in even the most utilitarian environment. But why should you have to when there's an opportunity to be around real elegance? You don't have to go too far out of your way to improve your scenery.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Again, you're negotiating for what you need. Your tone makes all the difference between being heard and not being heard. Strive to be factual, dispassionate, considerate and even-handed.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Being stuck doesn't last long. One idea frees you. Where do you get your ideas? Who knows! It's almost like they fall from the sky into your brain! But you're so happy when they come!

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I'm the Gemini wife of a Cancer man. We're wonderful together in every way except for our communication styles. I'm honest, open and passionate, and he's cold and secretive. Our arguments get especially nasty. How can we get past this?"

As you've figured out, Cancer is a very emotional sign, yet will go to great pains to make sure that emotion stays contained. Cancer is the first water sign of the zodiac. The strange thing about the element of water is that one can't see it unless it's contained — in a glass, in a swimming pool, in the riverbed, etc.

It's the same with Cancer's emotions. The act of containing feelings helps Cancer, and everyone else for that matter, realize what exactly those feelings are. Your openness makes Cancer feel threatened, and thus lash out in unfair ways. Holding Cancer up to normal standards of communication (being ruled by Mercury, Gemini is one of the most adept communicators of the zodiac) is a futile comparison. The only way to "win" is to play by Cancer's rules — that is to say, be extremely sensitive and coddle Cancer's delicate feelings.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Forever on the brink of a comeback, lifelong bad boy Axl Rose always likes to keep his fans guessing. Aquarius is ruled by the planet Uranus, the planet of surprises, eruptions and revolution — all the things rock 'n' roll is about. I predict that the highly anticipated, 10-years-in-the-making Guns N' Roses album "Chinese Democracy" will finally legitimize Rose's position among the greats of rock.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
