The sun enters Pisces with the reverence of a religious procession. If today had a soundtrack, it'd surely include the angelic tones of a hundred-person choir. Life is grand. It's more than grand. It's splendorous. Not because of anything we own or any sensation we feel, but because an endlessly joyful creative force flows through it.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). It's a lovely time for loafing. But you have the voice of a Type A personality inside you who'll protest the idea of eating chips and watching the television as if it were in danger of being stolen away at any second.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Change stimulates your imagination. There's stellar luck for entrepreneurs and investors now. In love, telling a half-truth may buy you more time, but the whole story will come out in a matter of days anyhow.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You have a hard time getting motivated and are distracted by things like food, flirting and fun. Give the id what it wants. This is the fastest way back to productivity.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You're in a wild mood. You may feel possessive when others howl at the moon, your ruling luminary. Your feral heart acts out in a way that no one else should be able to duplicate, crowd or stop.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The past tugs at your conscience, and the future tries to seduce you. The challenge is to stay attentive to what is happening now. If you can do this, a workable action plan will come to mind.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Feb. 18). Love gives you reason to persevere through challenges, nail your goals and continue striving. You connect deeply over the next 10 weeks, building trust with those on your team. Work-related concerns shift in March, which is for the best when you have the attitude of rolling with whatever comes. Scorpio and Taurus people are fantastic influences. Lucky numbers are: 9, 2, 21, 40 and 17.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You expect yourself to be brilliant and, coincidentally, so does everyone else. Luckily, delivering on such expectations is something well within your grasp. A Leo person is your ally.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Life's juicy offerings go to the patient now. Once you arrive in a social setting, plan to stay as long as possible. If you loiter around long enough, the whole world will drift in and out.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). The longer a desire goes unsatisfied, the stronger it gets. Satisfy your appetite for beauty, luxury and quality. Hone your senses by indulging in the best food and entertainment you can afford.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Computers require periodic system upgrades, and your personal operating system needs an update once in a while, too. You change a long-held belief. This enables you to upload a new "program."
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Potential isn't something to gamble on; it's something to develop. In the next three days, concentrate on realizing your abilities. Practice is actually fun.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Without competing, compare notes with a person who has been in a similar situation. You're empowered by what you learn. Libra and Gemini people are especially helpful.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Events happen to shake you up and switch off the autopilot in your head. Anything you've been doing in a repetitious and predicable way will be observed on a conscious level. The result is a mind-blowing breakthrough.
FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: This week brings the Chinese New Year celebration for the year 4705, the year of the pig. The Chinese New Year isn't the same date every year because it's dictated by the moon.
(The Chinese calendar is based on a combination of solar and lunar transits.) Traditionally, Chinese New Year is celebrated to honor Heaven and Earth, and this year the celebration is especially resonant as the astral winds of the spiritual solar procession through Pisces mingle with the earthy qualities of the pig. Consider that spirituality isn't separate from physical life, but intrinsically tied to it. We show the levity and goodness of our spirit by approaching practical matters with grace, walking with reverence and acting with integrity. Doing right is its own prayer. Rebellious Uranus has also been exploring Pisces the past few years (and will continue to do so into 2011), and the spiritual awakening of this transit continues to spread. It's as though, one by one, we open our eyes to the possibility that we could be creating our reality, and are therefore collectively and personally responsible for all that is happening. Each individual has an awesome and powerful affect on the whole.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Matt Dillon was born on the cusp of Aquarius and Pisces, but he is an Aquarius. His sun, Mercury, Mars and Saturn are all in this friendly and forward-thinking sign. Likely, his friendships help him showcase his talents -- he has no problem knowing all the right people! But his life lessons (Saturn) are also brought through friends. 2007 brings a role unlike anything he's played thus far.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
