Rapper Jadakiss pleads not guilty to gun and drug charges |

Jadakiss entered not guilty pleas on Thursday to charges of possessing a loaded handgun and marijuana. The rapper used his real name: Jason Phillips.
Jadakiss was arrested Oct. 7 with three other men in his native Yonkers. Police said they stopped the car he was in after smelling marijuana and then found the gun. His lawyer, Clement Patti, said Jadakiss was in the back seat and didn’t know about the gun.
“I have yet to see or hear of any evidence connecting my client to possessing this weapon,” Patti said.
Two of the other arrested men face similar charges. No indictment of the fourth was announced.

Jadakiss wrote controversial lyrics about President Bush and the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on New York City. His most recent album was “Kiss of Death” and he had a hit single, “U Make Me Wanna,” featuring Mariah Carey. | Only registered users can write comments.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk.
