Anna Nicole Smith could become even more of a money maker in death than she was in life.
The sales ranking for the DVDs of the blond beauty's reality TV show has soared a staggering 180,000 percent on Amazon.com since the model's sudden death in a Florida hotel room Thursday.
Copies of 1993 Playboy magazines, featuring Smith, were also being snapped up first thing Friday for up to $1,000 on eBay's "Buy It Now" feature.
"I would say it's been one of the most substantial leaps in the past year," said Amazon spokesman Sean Sundwall. "That's pretty huge."
The first season of the 2002 hit "The Anna Nicole Show" was placed a lowly 27,014th on the best-seller list the day the buxom blond was found dead. But in just 24 hours it skyrocketed to 15th place as fans scrambled to snap up mementos of the former Playboy model.
Smith's DVDs now account for three of the top four places on Amazon's movers and shakers list, which shows the products that have had the biggest sales jumps. Signed photos, collectible dolls and even domain names like AnnaNicoleSmith.bz are also on offer on eBay for top dollar, with some vendors asking for up to $1 million for the catchiest Web addresses.
Even Smith's final moments are making money wheels turn after a grainy video of paramedics working on Smith's unresponsive body was sold by Splash News and Picture Agency for $500,000. | Only registered users can write comments. Please login or register. |

| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
