The Greeley Stampede announced today that American Idol Alum Josh Gracin and Country music superstar Tracy Lawrence will perform June 25 at this year’s 85th annual Greeley Stampede.
Josh Gracin got his first big break on Fox network's American Idol 2. The young Michigan native with the great pipes and dynamic stage presence will carry his brand of high-energy country to the Greeley Stampede this summer. Gracin’s self-titled debut has shipped more than 750,000 units and is certified Gold. It includes the #1 smash “Nothin’ To Lose” and the Top 5 hits “Stay With Me (Brass Bed) and “I Want To Live.”
He recently released “I Keep Coming Back” from his forthcoming sophomore album, All About Y’all. The single is written by the creative team of Steve Robson and Jeffrey Steele, who also penned the Rascal Flatts hits “What Hurts The Most” and “My Wish.”
Co-headlining with Gracin is Tracy Lawrence. Lawrence’s dedication to honest and respect for tradition have enabled him to build one of the most respected careers in recent county music history. Known to have a wide range of sounds ranging from traditional country to songs with a definite southern rock feel, Lawrence has enjoyed success with such hits has “Time Marches On,” "Paint Me A Birmingham" and "Lessons Learned."
His newest album, For the Love, has been climbing up the charts. With sales just shy of 17,000 units, Lawrence entered Billboard magazine’s “Top Independent Albums” chart at No. 3, the “Top Country Albums” chart at No. 6, and “The Billboard Hot 100” albums chart at No. 53. The CD marks the first release on Lawrence’s own record label, Rocky Comfort Records, and is the first studio collection from Lawrence in nearly three years.
The Josh Gracin & Tracy Lawrence concert will be a part of the Stampede Stars & Spurs package. The package features the June 25 Gracin & Lawrence concert, the July 4 Lonestar concert and a Pro Rodeo ticket (June 27-28, July 2-3) for $25.

| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
