Saturn and Neptune are both powerful outer planetary influences taunting one another from opposite sides of the solar system. It's like they're superheroes and each has named the other as an evil nemesis. Only neither is evil. Both are just jealous. Saturn's superpower is discipline. Neptune's is big dreams. Who will win? Stay tuned.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Freaky, unexpected events unfold at work. Approach your job as a study in human nature. Notice that the one who seeks your opinion really wants your approval.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). It's wonderful to have a whimsical influence in your life. If you let yourself give into it, a journey begins. Also note that sibling dynamics might play into your love life in some way.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Any display of confidence you make today is lucky. Talk about your strengths to those who are in a position to use them to their fullest. Perfect placement of your talent will make you the most productive one in your group.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Write down creative ideas and thoughts. These are the seeds for your moneymaking projects that will yield results in the months to come. Keep or set appointments having to do with health — you're going to feel utterly fantastic.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Are you being silent when you need to speak up? This is so unlike you. If you continue in this manner, you'll surely blow your top at an inopportune time. You have a right to your opinion.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Feb. 28). You're getting your due props this year. Friends and family remind you what a special person you are in their world. Next month brings financial validation. In May, your personal life comes on your terms.
Romance sweeps you up. Make a career move in June when the risk factor favors you. You get along famously with Leo and Scorpio people. Your lucky numbers are: 19, 7, 31, 50 and 44.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Plans you made weeks ago now feel weighty on your schedule book. In fact, what seemed like a lovely lark (when it was in the distant future) now feels like an annoying obligation. Go anyway. It'll be invigorating.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). If you knock on enough doors, make requests and ask the right questions, you'll find your way. And with the right team behind you, the struggle feels much more like a game.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Languorous passion with someone sensitive and imaginative is positively magical — and then you wake up. Real-life romance includes sensual activities such as setting the table for dinner.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You have a talent and inclination for adventure. If you're not using it, your energy levels aren't what they could be. Listen to the wind. It tells you where the excitement is.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You always come through in a pinch, but in today's squeeze you're truly amazing. And the best part is, it's not even hard for you. You already have the right tools to fix a situation.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Some days you simply wake up in a glowing mood. Others, like this one, require you to take control of your mood by asking yourself questions like "What am I happy about?"

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Be careful not to mistake spirituality for art. They relate to each other, but the artist isn't necessarily always a good person, and a good person isn't necessarily an artist.

NEPTUNE VERSUS SATURN: WHO WILL WIN?

Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, it's time to place your bets. In the green trunks, we have Neptune, the big bad ocean god. In the gold stripes, we have Saturn, the reigning champion. Yes, the Neptune/Saturn opposition is a recurring astrological theme this year, as retrograde cycles save this cosmic "fight" in a Tivo-esque manner, making it accessible for a good part of the year. Who are the players?

Neptune is a powerhouse who manages the domain of all things dreamy and spirited. Saturn is the curmudgeonly taskmaster whose favorite weapon is an old-school ruler, which he rap-rap-raps on the classroom desks to remind us that recess isn't for another hour, so we should all settle in and be quiet. What exactly are they doing up there in the heavenly ring? They're pulling at either end of an invisible rope.

On a personal level, this "opposition" provides enlightening tension. Here's the big question: Who is winning in your life? Do you have big dreams, but not enough follow through? Or are you stuck with your head down, slaving away without a vision and with little faith? Whichever side is lacking in your life, now is your time to beef it up. Make this a fair fight, why don't you?

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Kristin Davis has three luminaries in Pisces, a wonderful sign for an actress. Empathy is one of the primary qualities of the fish, and Pisces enjoys stepping into another person's shoes, whether it's to create a character or to better understand a friend. Her next role will be very different from Charlotte in "Sex and the City," but every bit as believable.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
