Hold on to your tax forms, people — there is a total lunar eclipse in Virgo, the ruler of all things organizational, analytical and inevitable. Let the psychological shadow of this astral phenomenon dim out your resistance to getting your life in order. Make the most of the transit by taking three organizational steps toward your dearest wishes.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). It nearly always shocks you when someone becomes angry at something you did for the sake of having fun or maintaining the peace. White lies are, after all, harmless — right? Well, at least your intentions are pure.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You help to attract political and social support for whatever your group is working to accomplish. Be careful not to let your perfectionist attitude get in the way of taking decisive action.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). New beliefs can become quickly ingrained in you now. Make this work in your favor. Keep a list of empowering beliefs you'd like to adopt, and take it out and look at it whenever you have a spare moment.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). What you say sticks, especially when it's a promise. Others hold you to your word. Acquaintances become friends tonight. Your obvious concern for others draws them in, as does your willingness to listen.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You're in the mood to perform, and so it's easier to express yourself than to receive the messages of others. However, if you take time to listen, the testimony of others validates your own conclusions.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Mar. 3). Your personality attracts warmth this year. This month you get real with a relationship and take it to the next level. Travel opportunities, life-altering meetings and new friends are part of April. Singles date often, before finding someone special in June. In August, your entrepreneurial spirit is rewarded. Your ties with Capricorn and Cancer people are tender. Lucky numbers are: 40, 13, 4, 6 and 25.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). As the sign of details, sometimes the smallest one leads to a big change. For instance, if you'd like to be happier, just look up. Taking your gaze from the ground to the heavens will raise your spirits.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Treating yourself to something nice is a good way to remind you that your well-being is just as important as the well-being of those you take care of with such sweet attention.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). It seems like everyone you want to get ahold of wants to get ahold of you. Your timing is brilliant. Perfect strangers have what you need, and random bits of luck save you money. It's a good day.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). If this were the movie of your life, what admirable action would the main character take? Act on today's idea immediately. Otherwise, you'll lose the impulse and eventually forget about it.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You've known yourself all these years, but still have much to learn about your own complex character. Things hidden in your psyche will come to the surface when you experience an activity for the very first time.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You're aware of an exclusive club or a clique of people you'd like to know. Don't wait for an invitation to join. Use your enchanting personality. Align yourself with the most accessible member of the group.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You're prone to passionate whims and could take a spontaneous trip. Responsibilities don't magically disappear, though. Be clever, and figure out a way to cover your bases while you're being a free spirit.
FULL MOON RITUAL: The word "ritual" can sound spooky, especially when mentioned in conjunction with the full moon, conjuring up images of people standing around in capes and chanting in a foreign language to some kind of wicked-looking statue — cue the cheesy horror music.
Rest assured, this isn't the kind of ritual I'm talking about. Here is my favorite lunar ritual for the full moon in Virgo: 1) Pay every single bill on my desk. Even if I don't yet have the money, I write the check and put a stamp on it so it's ready to go when the funds come in.
2) Pay bills for things I don't even own yet. Yes, it's true. I write a check for the mortgage on that beautiful mansion on the hill with the big yard and the small creek running through it. That check goes into an envelope, too. I put a stamp on it, address it to a fantasy bank and place it with the others.
3) Light a candle, and enjoy the abundant feeling of being financially caught up — even if it's still in fantasy form. Let the energy of the full moon help you flesh out this dream.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Pisces Shaquille O'Neal is on a mission to help kids lose weight and get in shape. He taps into his inner guru — every Pisces has one — to do this. With Mercury in Aries, O'Neal lets his ambition lead him in the day-to-day activities, but with love planet, Venus, in steadfast Taurus, he has family values and will find his greatest happiness when he's hanging out with his kin.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
