START YOUR SEEDS
`Tis the season to germinate your seeds and Charley's Greenhouse and Garden offers the latest supplies to make it easier than ever before.

Jump start them. The Jump Start Propagator is a 55-cell propagation tray insulated to maintain consistent soil temperature, which seed embryos just love. A wicking mat under the tray draws water from the reservoir to maintain just the right amount in the soil. The clear, very tall dome minimizes evaporation, speeds germination and gives seedlings plenty of room to grow. $19.95

Protect them. A new stonewool growing medium is super absorbent and cannot be over-watered, which helps eliminate root rot in seedlings. It's also lightweight and clean to work with. $34.95 for 5 pounds of cubes or $12.95 for a sheet of 98 ProPlugs.

Balance them. Lastly, there's a 55-cell tray with special Q Plugs that maintain a desired balance of media, water and air to promote healthy root growth. The plugs are made from composted tree bark that contains a natural rooting hormone; they are spongy like peat moss but do not crumble. $14.95 for the tray and plugs or $9.95 for 50 plugs.

PIZZA ANYONE?

Your kitchen indoors stays cool and comfortable when you cook pizza outdoors - using the Beehive oven.

Designed especially for outdoor use, you can wheel the Beehive to any location in your yard. Handmade in Europe using terracotta in two layers sandwiched with insulation, the oven gets to 1,000 degrees inside but isn't hot on the outside. The oven is 33 inches in diameter and about 60 inches tall on its iron stand. Use the oven to cook meats, fish, veggies, breads and, of course, pizzas for all of the neighborhood kids. $1,400, plus shipping, and includes oven, stand, door, cooking rack and oven cover. Available at www.alfrescoimports.com or call toll free 1-866-305-2675.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
