 Yes, ladies and gentlemen, the grand master of illusions is coming to our own backyard, or rather our own events center. David Copperfield will be making a one-night only stop in northern Colorado.
Copperfield’s newest show, “An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion,” focuses on dreams and their evolution. Copperfield wants to base his work on what people really dream about and think about. “For magic to be relevant it has to evolve so it keeps up with, or even surpasses the best film and theatre,” Copperfield said. “Most of us don’t dream of pulling a rabbit from a hat.”
The audience will be able to participate in many of the illusions, one of which, The Lottery, was inspired by Copperfield’s grandfather.
Copperfield will share with audience members the secret to picking the winning number combinations.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
