In the spirit of the Pisces moon, people of all races will be celebrating St. Patty's Day with the Irish. The Pisces moon is an impressionable influence, and people like to go along with the crowd under its guidance, not because they can't think for themselves, but because they want to know what it's like to see the world from another point of view.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You can influence others by merely thinking wonderful things about them. Your positive attitude is subtle. Instead of wearing "rose-colored glasses," you wear rose-colored contacts.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). That one with the difficult personality can create stress for you -- but only if you let it. You can either avoid this person entirely, or simply resolve not to get snagged on his or her drama.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Throwing yourself into work could keep you from exploring a sore subject. Romantic wounds really should be dealt with as they are happening -- to prevent them from getting deeper.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You'll be meeting new people. Find something to like right away. Whatever you notice you'll keep on noticing. Family drama is played out tonight with a happy ending.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You're inspired to take the high road in all matters. You could even go so far as to love those who have wronged you. After all, revenge is like burning down your house to get rid of a rat.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (March 17). Formerly closed doors open up to you. You'll be offered things in the next three weeks that you didn't even know existed. Finances are terrific through April, and May brings a windfall. The marriage-minded tie the knot in September. A new house or a major purchase is featured in January. You hit it off immediately with Virgo and Leo people. Your lucky numbers are: 8, 20, 45, 22 and 13.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). People around you aren't looking to you to entertain them. They want security and a better quality of life. You provide this, and that makes you devastatingly charismatic.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). While the word "methodical" seems the antithesis of romance, the stars favor a deliberate approach in your quest for love. Think about and list the qualities you desire in a partner.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). It's a proactive day. Nip potential problems in the bud. Review all of your expenditures, especially the ones you don't typically think about. A few adjustments will provide some financial breathing room.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Your overactive mind can make you suspicious when you ought not to be. Decide who has earned your trust, and spend time with this person. Take a break from your own apprehension.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You'll be mingling with the creme de la creme. Your choice of attire could affect your attitude. Think ahead -- make sure you're dressed to feel comfortable among the well-heeled.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You've always been a progressive thinker, and this is obvious now. Forge ahead with your ideas. You have the same right to your opinion that everyone else has.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). It's lucky to let people see you get around in style. On the social front, first impressions are telling, but not the whole story. Flirting and fun are featured tonight.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I'm a Leo with a Virgo rising. Friends my age are much further along in their careers, and that really bums me out. I should be doing better, and yet I'm so overwhelmed by life that I can't see how. The whole thing makes me sad."
As a Leo you have big dreams that include being recognized on a large scale. When you see others who are getting the kinds of accolades you think you deserve, it can actually make you angry, and it sounds like you're turning that anger inward. You're not mad at your friends or at successful people, but mad at yourself for staying in a smaller game than you know you're able to play. Overwhelming yourself by demanding that you tend to hundreds of tasks and details is also a way of keeping you small. Instead of taking practical action toward your goal, you're defeated by the size of it before you even make one move. The next time you feel angry that someone is successful, tell yourself that the very fact that you feel this way means you're capable of similar success. Then feel happy for yourself for what is around the bend for you, converting your anger into excitement and motivation.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Paula Zahn is a Pisces who uses her observant and sensitive nature to get in tune with what others are feeling, drawing out the truth with her ability to empathize. Pisces journalists don't have an easy time separating feelings and work, but they consistently turn out a high-quality result for this reason. Zahn's moon in Leo exudes a warmth that is contagious to her interviewees.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
