The Aries sun, Taurus moon combination is a lift to the senses. Enlivening experiences aren't so out of the ordinary — a strong cup of coffee, a cool-looking cloud formation, a song on the radio that touches your heart — but your appreciation of these experiences makes them special, if not sacred.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Like little kids in a playground, when someone pushes, it's too easy to push back. Your sandbox may only be big enough for you right now, and that's OK, too.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). By joining forces with people who think like you, you can make big changes. Also, the stars are behind you if you want to quit a habit cold turkey — it won't be so hard.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). People like to give you things — maybe because you're so likeable, or possibly there's a sign on your forehead that reads "incoming." Accept the gifts — especially the ones that appear as mixed blessings.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Stress and excitement produce the same signals in your body. So when you get a new job or must rise to a lofty occasion, it's hard to tell which one you have going on. As Lauryn Hill sang, "Everything is everything."

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Someone has a point to make, and you're the lucky recipient of his or her irritation. Even in the heat of the moment, you stand your ground while keeping your cool.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (March 21). You're bold enough to ask for what you've wanted for a long time. As a result, you're treated like royalty. Wield your influence thoughtfully through April — impressionable people make an example out of you. A dream vacation is featured in November. You make an instant and lasting connection with Gemini and Capricorn people. Your lucky numbers are: 9, 40, 51, 43 and 28.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You hit a deadlock. This is a no-win situation. Do not continue to accept what's offered. Meet unreasonable demands with your own requests, which aren't at all out of line.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Someone is unavailable to you. Instead of jumping right into a story about why they're not with you, entertain the thought that they're simply unavailable. If you don't hold them responsible for your happiness, it's no big deal.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Exertion can be measured as the amount of force it takes to move an object. If the object is bigger than the energy you'd like to or can expend on it, don't keep pushing. Ask for help.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). In grade school you learned to stop, look and listen before crossing the street. Take a beat — a deep breath — and then simplify a complex problem with common sense. It becomes clear.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). There's something difficult you've wanted to say to someone. Do it now. You're less likely to hurt anyone's feelings, and you can present your case in the most favorable light possible.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You wouldn't sidle up behind a horse without letting her know you're there with a reassuring pat. Similarly, people have their own particularities. Approach gently.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Others feel they can rely on you to show up for the stuff no one else wants to do. What gives them this idea? Your past reliability in like circumstances. Consider whether you want to continue in this manner.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I'm a Leo woman, born Aug. 2, 1951, at 2:07 p.m., in New York. I fell quickly in love with a Sagittarius man two years ago, but was very hurt when he became physically and emotionally unavailable a few months later. He has re-entered my life, and I still like him very much. Will it work this time?"

What a fun-loving chart you have! Your colorful style and spunky personality shine through — no doubt it is what this Sagittarius was attracted to. I see self-esteem issues that manifest in the tendency to value yourself based on the attention you get from people you perceive to be a higher status. Break the habit of giving your power away in this manner! Start with this Sagittarius man. Use him as a testing ground and a way to develop emotional muscle. When you no longer care whether he likes you, you'll be at the next level in your personal life — the level where you're willing to love yourself and be with people who genuinely want a relationship with you. This guy doesn't.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Feminist movement leader Gloria Steinem founded Ms. Magazine and wrote the bestseller "Revolution From Within: A Book of Self-Esteem," among numerous other works. Aries energy is the energy of warriors, and Steinem's weapon of choice is the written word. I see her joining a candidate on the campaign trail in 2007.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
