Five nonprofit organizations are teaming up at the Greeley Freight Station Museum for a fundraiser called “Celebrations of Generations.”
The fundraiser is 7-9 p.m. March 16 at the museum, 680 10th St. in Greeley.
The five organization hosting the event are: A Kid’s Place, A Woman’s Place, C.A.R.E., Eldergarden and Weld County Partners.
Attendees may purchase tickets for upcoming events such as hot-air balloon rides, pheasant hunting on a private reserve, preparing an Italian gourmet dinner with a master chef, stained-glass design classes and more.
The Greeley Freight Station is a miniature train museum.
Gourmet coffee and desserts will be provided during the event, and there will be live entertainment.
Tickets are $25 per person and $40 per couple, available through A Kid’s Place, 353.5970.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
