Alec Baldwin could be barred from contact with his daughter after he left a threatening tirade on her voice mail, calling the 11-year-old a "rude, thoughtless little pig" and vowing to "straighten your a - out" on his next visit.

The "30 Rock" star's tape-recorded rant was obtained by the celebrity Web site TMZ.com after it was reviewed by the judge overseeing the long-running custody dispute between the actor and his Oscar-winning ex-wife, Kim Basinger. Infuriated that daughter Ireland failed to answer his scheduled phone call on April 11, Baldwin, 49, launched into a screaming fit.

"I am tired of playing this game with you. ... You have insulted me for the last time. ... You don't have the brains or the decency as a human being. I don't give a damn that you are 12 years old or 11 years old, or that you are a child or that your mother is a thoughtless pain in the a_," he fumed.

Commissioner Maren Nelson temporarily suspended Baldwin's visitation rights, TMZ said. A hearing is set for May 4, according to court officials. Custody proceedings are closed and the filings are confidential.

Baldwin's lawyer Vicki Greene blamed Basinger's camp for leaking the tape and "hurting the child."

"Alec is a great guy who loves his daughter," said Greene.

Baldwin's spokesman Matthew Hiltzik defended him in a statement: "Although Alec acknowledges that he should have used different language in parenting his child, everyone who knows him privately knows what he has been put through for the past six years."

Basinger's rep Annett Wolf said: "The voice mail speaks for itself."

Celebrity divorce lawyer Lynn Soodik said Baldwin's outburst could cost him big time.

"I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't allow him to see her, or that all future visits would be with a professional monitor present," said Soodik.

In his rant, Baldwin appeared to threaten the girl about what he might do on his next visit, which had been scheduled for today.

"I am gonna get on a plane and I am gonna come out there for the day and I am gonna straighten your a - out when I see you, do you understand me?" he said.
Instead of saying goodbye, Baldwin ended the message with a string of insults.
"I'm gonna let you know just how I feel about what a rotten little pig you really are. You are a rude, thoughtless little pig, OK?" he said before hanging up.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
