Life's a thrilling invitation during the full moon in Scorpio. There's no subject too taboo to talk about, either (a comforting thought for the truth-tellers). If your life resembles an episode of "Desperate Housewives," with requisite passion, betrayal and secrets, turn up the volume and don't worry about what the neighbors will think. ARIES (March 21-April 19). An associate poses a strong proposal that is in his or her best interest, and not necessarily in yours. Buy some time to think this over, even if you have to make a flimsy excuse.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). When women say, "we need to talk," men hear, "you're doing something wrong." It shouldn't be rocket science, but communication between the sexes is a subtle art. Tip: Adapt your message to the receiver.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Stray souls meander into your cubicle, and memos without a home show up on your desk. Instead of devoting your expertise to a lost cause, help these wanderers to their true homes.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). A project you're involved in gives you creative passion second only to romantic passion or eating chocolate cake. And if you have all of the above, you're truly blessed. Indulge!
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You aren't the first person to admit a deep dark secret, and you're not the last. Whether big or small, your revelatory moment is registered in the impact of your actions and words.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 2). It's a year of mythic proportions in terms of your personal growth. The next four months see you slaying personal dragons and claiming heroic prizes. You're sharp enough not to lose your head when you see all the glitter around you in June, and for this reason you're able to leverage relationships for progress. Leo and Scorpio people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 9, 30, 28, 1 and 50.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You have the presence of mind to put your attention precisely where it's needed. Whether this means doing Feng Shui on your office or answering e-mails rapid-fire, at the end of the day you go home feeling organized.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Your intimacy wants and needs are just as important as someone else's, but right now yours seem more compelling to you. Maybe you've shoved them aside for too long. Do what it takes to exfoliate your emotions.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). As people around you fumble to understand their tempestuous inner worlds, you're totally qualified to play devil's advocate. Should you need an adviser yourself, an angel is sitting on your other shoulder -- for balance.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). If you can break a thing down piece by piece, you won't get overwhelmed with the mechanics of it. This rule works on anything from deterring an unhealthy craving to making gym time. Reward yourself in the process.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Some of the most satisfying art is produced by "happy accidents," an unintended smudge or mistake that takes the work in a new direction. Let mayhem be your guide to creative bliss.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You make other people's business your business, but when it comes down to it, today you just want to be left to your own devices. If you put yourself out there, be prepared to attract attention.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You have the hand of a sculptor and the voice of Botticelli right now, making any utterance or e-mail an artful act of self-expression. When your computer goes down or your cell phone dies, it's your cue to get creative.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I'm a female born Jan. 3, 1964, and I've had the worst love life. Seriously. I'm just wondering if I'm meant to be alone, or will I meet someone someday? I know my Venus is in Aquarius, which makes this difficult." All is not lost, Capricorn. You've clearly got a sense of humor, which brings a smile to my face! Consider your natural sparkle and punch resources on the long road to love. Humor will always help you make instant heart connections -- to love interests you might not otherwise reach. Humor can defend against deeper feelings, mainly distrust. Trusting someone enough to surrender to real intimacy means you have to make yourself vulnerable to being hurt. Of course you've been burned in the past -- that's a part of the relationship learning curve, and hopefully you graduate with a degree in good judgment. But when you're the first to jump to conclusions and the last to give up your ground, how can your partner ever feel valued as one half of a team? You're a strong, independent lady. Develop your soft side. Melt those icicles on your heart.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: What's the planet of laughter? If there were one, Jerry Seinfeld would have it going strong. It's a combination of influences for Seinfeld. His Jupiter in Gemini has the gift of gab, truly the observational comedian, but the tension between Saturn and Mercury is like a funnel for the funnyman, helping him nail the punch line. Without this tension, he'd be throwing clever punches into empty air.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
