The cosmic elixir includes a drop of seriousness, compliments of the Capricorn moon, in the Gemini sun's bubbly champagne cocktail. When your festivities are interrupted by a somber idea or weighty responsibility, it's an opportunity for a moment of reflection or duty -- but don't stay mired there. There's too much to celebrate.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Loved ones may feel you're being difficult, but what did they expect? When the status quo becomes unacceptable to you, you feel it's your job to say so. Ultimately, that's why they love you.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You pick up on the vibes of others, and you intuit how to proceed in communicating with them. So your winning edge comes from being not so edgy at all. In fact, you're downright nice.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). It's possible to turn your character flaws into character assets. But first you have to want to, and today you're just not in the mood. Anyway, if they love you, they'll take you "as is," right?
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Weird ideas cross your mind. Ideas like: (SET ITAL) Life really is fair. This is the best way everything could have possibly turned out. I can do it. (END ITAL) These thoughts are a sign that your lucky mojo is back.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). It's wonderful that people want to share with you. Some of it you'd rather they didn't, though. Enjoy the fact that others feel safe, cozy and affectionate toward you. Then set a boundary or two.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 2). This year presents a panoply of unknowns and unknowables. Don't be afraid if you haven't a clue what to do next. Take comfort in the fact that no one else knows, either, and then step into this brave world. There's a financial bonus this month. New relationships entice you in July. Libra and Taurus people are reliable and interesting companions. Your lucky numbers are: 15, 27, 22, 1 and 45.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Something in you is determined to use any adversity you encounter as a tool to become sharper, stronger and more loving. Lead with that powerful part of your personality.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). You're freeing yourself from old behavior. Flaws that you let go of long ago may resurface in moments of stress. Be patient. Transformation happens in stages.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You're in an experimental mood. Sometimes asking "what if?" solves the problem. Other times "what if?" creates the problem. Either way, you ask and learn.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Life brings you one rich paradox after another. First you are able to conquer the opposition using your great kindness. Then you put yourself last and become the leader.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You'll soon have the chance to use your talent for making the world a better place. So practice, practice, practice. Someday you could even earn a living doing what you do for fun.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Arguing isn't necessary. Bite your tongue and wait it out instead. You won't have long to wait. All responsibilities eventually get taken care of by their rightful owners.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You've made a lot of new friends lately, and now you're wondering how to manage them all. Don't worry. Others can appreciate that you're in demand. A five-minute phone call may be better than a lengthy visit anyhow.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I was born March 17, 1972. I have a problem finding myself where I live now, in Germany. I used to be successful in my career where I came from. Now I feel so useless and low. I want to work again, but things aren't so favorable at the moment. Can I also find self-fulfillment here?"
A Pisces with Aries energy figuring strongly in your chart, you usually have beginner's luck in the first few months of living in a new place. When your luck runs out, why not move again to get it back? The weather where you are is strongly affecting your mood. You thrive in sunlight. Consider moving to Nevada, Arizona or the south of France, but you can find fulfillment anywhere in the world. Fulfillment has to do with how you talk to yourself, comfort yourself and how strongly you believe that you're in charge of your destiny. You could live in a beautiful palace on a seaside mountaintop with all the money in the world and still be miserable if you're not a friend to yourself. While you're getting your moving plan together, spiritual studies could help you get in touch with the inner you who's in charge of your happiness.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: What "You Oughta Know" about Alanis Morissette is that she's not only a Gemini twin, she's also an actual twin. Morisette uses her songs to work out internal struggles. Artistic outlets are sources of meditation and inspiration for Gemini. And because of their excellent communication skills, their art is relatable to those who find themselves in similar situations.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
