In Iceland today, the nine Wave Maidens are honored -- perfect for this Pisces moon day. According to Norse myth, the maidens live at the bottom of the sea, bringing harmony to the cyclic ups and downs of life. Hug a Pisces person today! Thank them for helping you go with the flow.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Let the past inform your present. Everything you are today is a result of who you were yesterday. Past wishes, fantasies, even the blinders you've worn appear in your rearview mirror. Dare to look back.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You know better than to trust anyone who says, "Trust me." Furthermore, you succeed in negotiations because you're willing to walk away at any moment. A Sagittarius person could help you close a deal.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Speak for yourself. You say your piece and come off stronger (and incredibly charming) for it. Your locus of control may feel shaky, but when you believe in you, everyone else does, too.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). As The Great Oz once said, "Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain." Your tiny fears are projected. If you really knew how things worked, you wouldn't be afraid, you'd take pity instead.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You find out who's rooting for you and who isn't so sure. This is important information on how to proceed with your plan. You convince those who doubt you, or find enough faith in yourself to make up for the deficit.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 7). You have a stronger public presence this year, so people are seeking you out for what you have to say. If you're looking to make a career change, connect over the next four weeks. Spend money on home improvements this month. August is sociable and fun, and you're nonstop "on." You click with Aquarius and Cancer people. Your lucky numbers are: 12, 22, 6, 14 and 33.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You can't get where you're going alone. Mutual appreciation multiplies what you're aiming for into something doubly good. Look for your commonalities and nurture those over a friendly chat.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Your sympathy evokes the same thoughtful response from the recipient. Their response is more than inspiring. It gives you a sense of purpose. You remember why you do it all.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Humor unifies. Let your lighthearted wit make a cameo, and the world laughs with you. It's your playfully expressive style that keeps them coming back for more.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). A decision you'd been deliberating over with a partner is made with sudden ease. No matter how small it looks, this shift is a milestone. It's so good -- you're coveting it with the guardedness of a new momma.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You're the gatekeeper of the traffic in your life. If it's too frantic and focused on productivity, it's difficult to really thrive. Put the brakes on when you need to. Let your psyche tell you what comes next.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Do the practical. Organize your notebooks. Schedule your social calendar. Balance your checkbook. Give yourself the gift of organization. Your muse awakens when the desk is cleared.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Honor the seasons of your self, your natural rhythm of release and energy. Give yourself permission to follow that inner pull. The outer world may not get it, so give them time to find theirs.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I was born on June 14, 1978. I'm currently in a wonderful relationship with an amazing guy, and about a year ago, I got the job I'd been wanting for years. Everything seems great, but I'm not necessarily feeling good about my life. I feel like something really big is missing (creativity perhaps?), and I'm working really hard without a big-picture goal in mind. Am I just creating this unhappiness for some strange reason?" I see you've spent the past few years cleaning up your life and your relationships in very positive ways. The tail end of your Saturn return can feel like a case of the blahs. You've been focused on designing this great life! Your Mars joins Saturn in Leo, so your inhibitions and fears hold you back from taking risks. You're afraid of failing before you even begin. Knowing this, you can be gentle with your own resistance. Jupiter's passage through your creativity sector (through 2008) will continue to egg you on. Try this: Name five things you've always wanted to do, but "can't" or "shouldn't." Do one of them -- no judgment allowed. Dare to look foolish. Creativity is risky!
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Happy birthday, Dr. Ruth Westheimer! Some people can get away with saying just about anything and look so cute doing it. It's a Gemini thing. What Dr. Ruth says about human sexuality makes a nun blush, but audiences love her candid, witty manner. Her Mercury in Cancer treads sensitive subjects lightly, but angling Uranus doesn't hold back the truth. In fact, I'd say it's darn near impossible.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
