The Aries moon has our inner warrior spirits on alert. It can be a tricky matter, channeling energy into the right endeavors. If we're not busy enough, it's easy to get frustrated. So be proactive, with a plan A and a plan B. Then be willing to chuck it all when something really enticing comes along promising many fun-filled hours.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). You're being considered to step into a new position. The most charming candidate wins. Of course you have a sharp competitive instinct, but it's a genial approach that'll bolster your popularity.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Loved ones may try to get you to stick to a financial plan. When are they going to learn that money is an emotional matter, and you simply can't put neat price tags on your emotions?
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Your inner life is as important as your outer life when it comes to having fun. Leisure is good for your heart and your productivity, especially if you can lose that tickertape in your head that keeps going on about work, work, work.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Just because something makes you happy doesn't mean it's selfish. Following your own bliss helps others, too. Taurus and Scorpio people hook you up with the things that'll please you.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The poetry in your life is turned up a few notches as your muse drops in for a long overdue visit. An inspired evening is ahead. Go on a date. Just you, the night and your tunes. Let music seduce you.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 9). You're accepted for being yourself this year. The career moves you make in August may not seem monumental, but you're gaining an excellent reputation among respected peers. That translates into a lucrative fall season. By December you have the money to do something you've always wanted to do. Sagittarius and Cancer are lucky love signs. Lucky numbers are: 30, 7, 15, 23 and 2.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). There it goes -- the frazzle and crackle of your plans breaking into little pieces. Maybe the wrong people were on the schedule. Or the location was a bust. Anyway, you're better off, and it turns out to be a fun day after all.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Welcome to a perfect day, balanced with myriad activities. Whether you like the visiting, cleaning, listening to music or the sitting and thinking best, it's all there for you to enjoy.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You're letting go again, and you'll soon feel worry-free. Your body still holds the memories of things you've forgotten. Ask those little tension spots and tender areas if they have any insight to impart now.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). The acerbic and witty Fran Lebowitz said that your chances of winning the lottery are identical whether you play or not. She doesn't understand that a Sagittarius on a good day such as this one can beat all odds.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Someone is serving up some kind of messy energetic delicacy. It doesn't mean you have to dig in. One taste of this epic drama and you'll push away your plate -- no thanks!
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Communication might be the essence of healthy relationships, but this isn't always best accomplished through talking. Relationships also need nurturing silence and contemplative understanding.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You may be a little down, but you're in no way out. Besides, if you were winning right now, it wouldn't seem like a game. It's when you're losing that your competitive spirit kicks in.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "My husband and I were born on the very same day of the same year. June 16, 1951 ... and our son was born (naturally) on June 16, 1978. We do have a daughter with her own birthday, Sept. 15, 1973. What do you make of that?" Twins, twins and more twins! Your Virgo probably loves the constant challenge of the mischief and madness the rest of the family brings into her ordered life. Virgo and Gemini are both ruled by Mercury, the trickster of the zodiac. Your shared birthday sounds like just the kind of zany fun Mercury delights in. The numerology of June 16 is 13, a number of transformation. As a family, the four of you make your own rules and can be quite spontaneous and fun. The unit operates best in total chaos, and is able to make sense of situations that others would get lost inside. You're one smart crew, delighting in intellectual banter and games. Because the four of you vibrate on such an up tone, you're very attractive to others, and often the activities revolve around your house and your "plan," if you can call your collective whims a "plan!"
CELEBRITY PROFILES: The young one-named wonder Lalaine is perhaps best known by the preteens who admire the outspoken character Miranda, whom she portrayed in the Disney TV series "Lizzie McGuire." But this multitalented and energetic Gemini twin will be showing another side in the years to come. I predict her rock 'n' roll spirit will shine through in both musical form, and in her work in an indie film.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
