There's a childhood tale that says if you're next to a lake, you can see the lady of the moon dancing on the water's surface. The Cancer moon is a mere sliver, so we'll wait for her apparition. Till then, clairvoyant lunar waves resonate among us, her "moonkids." Let that funny feeling surface. Chances are, someone else is feeling it, too.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You don't like to complain -- why should you when your stony silence says it all? Everyone around you is so sensitive now. All you have to do is think of your displeasure and people hop to remedy the situation.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Your reasons for doing things make perfect, crystalline sense -- if only to you. And all those quizzical faces darting looks in your direction? Ignore them as you go on your merry way.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Most likely, you're entertaining at home and will be the host with the most on this domestically brilliant day. Break up the couples to ensure that the conversation is diverse and interesting.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). You're as joyful and productive as your schedule is full. You'll profit from projects you begin on your own and in secret. Let the energy percolate inside you, instead of dissipating it by telling too many people.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). While others play, you put hours into a perfectly optional project. That it's not mandatory is the whole point. Doing what you don't have to do shows your determination, persistence and fundamental good sense.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 16). You're talented. Stop questioning that and move ahead! This year you're celebrated in many ways. A fan becomes a friend or possibly even a lifelong partner in August. There's measured progress in your career this fall. Your momentum carries you to a windfall in December. Virgo and Sagittarius people are your motivational friends. Your lucky numbers are: 8, 20, 4, 33 and 1.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). The stakes seem high. Really they're not, but if thinking this way helps you meet deadlines and respond quickly to demands, it's not all bad. Partners need to know your plans in order to feel like part of your team.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Your reminder from the stars is that love sometimes requires work. Don't give up. Your sweetie will put in at least as much effort as you, but you'll have to go first.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Any change, even a positive one, brings uncertainty with it. But you'll gracefully figure out how to handle lovely developments that happen over the next three days -- take your time.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Seize the opportunity to set something right with your mother, with a child or with a person whom you regard as a mothering influence. Gently speak your heart, starting with "I feel ... " and going from there.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Your dreams are very much alive, even if you claim you don't remember them! Listen to what you're thinking about when you're seemingly not thinking about anything at all. Desire lives in the in-between spaces.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). It's a good day to be like the zebra, whose (utterly fabulous) stripes actually help it blend in and run with the herd. Enjoy camaraderie with those friends who are as vibrant and unique as you!

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You'll feel assured that you can get away with whatever you want, but there's no escaping karma once you've acted. This is true for both good and bad karma, so commit to an act of love!

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I'm a Taurus, born May 11, 1967, and have struck up an online relationship with a Pisces, born March 17, 1962. My Pisces has never been married, but has had several long-term relationships and has seemingly been hurt in every one. I am divorced three years. We live 2,000 miles away from each other -- my being on an island with no easy or cheap way to get here. I know he likes me a great deal, and the same is true of me toward him, but he's been standoffish because of our geographic locations. What's the likelihood that he'll build up enough courage to come visit me? Could we make this relationship work?"
You're a compassionate lady with a heart of gold. Your vulnerable Pisces has attracted women who haven't had his best interest at heart. In you, he sees someone different from the others -- you're a healing, angelic presence. Even though you've never met in person, the attraction between you two is real. You've both survived broken hearts, so one of you needs to find the courage to make the trip to see the other, to build trust. Then you'll know whether he's ready to take another chance on love.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Ice Cube has a soft side. As founding member of the lyrically hard-edged ghetto group N.W.A., had he stuck with only music, we'd have never known. His songwriting style is aggressive and controversial. But his acting shows this man can be thought-provoking and sensitive. Cube's moon is in tender Cancer -- he's a softie and a family man. And he's looking for a family of his own this year.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
