It's the summer solstice, and the sun enters the sign of Cancer, the Crab. The Crab suns herself on the rock to which she clings, the ultimate sun worshipper. Some things are worth clinging to: tender memories, summer sun and easy living. Crabby Cancer kicks up her heels to Ella Fitzgerald, "Summertime, and the living is easy..."
ARIES (March 21-April 19). People judge and analyze you all day long at work, so why do it to yourself at home? Give yourself credit for your fabulous ideas and the imagination that sparked them.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You can't change the past. But examining it isn't a futile exercise. A historical review prepares you to make a new choice when a similar situation arises this afternoon.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Though fresh experiences are largely positive, be sure to schedule time to rest, as well. Too much new information makes you as cranky as an over-stimulated child.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You are one of a kind. Your work produces results now, never to be duplicated again. File, archive and back up your computer system. Tonight: Your affection is returned. You could even be proposed to.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Whatever you're doing, don't stop. Forge ahead without a worry of what others think. Otherwise you're likely to get stuck in a web of doubt and details. What you need more than anything else is momentum.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 21). Your social life is fascinating this year, and you attract people who are as interesting to you as they are interested in you. July brings a once-in-a-lifetime business opportunity. Your loyalty earns you a prized position in September. There's a hefty financial bonus in October. You've a strong connection with Scorpio and Leo people. Your lucky numbers are: 7, 4, 2, 21 and 50.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're pushing your energy to the edge. Find a competition and enter it. Spend time with accomplished friends who inspire you. You get a rush of self-esteem from living to the limit.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). It's been said there's no sincerer love than the love of food. Take a probing look at your relationship with this life-sustaining basic. Health improves when you apply insights about nutrition and exercise.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. you go through a complete attitude makeover. Reinventing yourself is only half the fun -- the other half is in watching what new and fascinating characters you attract with your new self.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You're fascinated with powerful people and could find a new hero this week. Also prone to infatuation, be careful not to attribute characteristics to people that they don't possess.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Hang out with your friends. Don't worry about needing to impress anyone. Kick back and enjoy. Your signmate Humphrey Bogart once said, "A hot dog at the ballpark is better than a steak at the Ritz."
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). The time allotted to do the tasks you need to do is ridiculously restrictive. Hello, stress! Hop on the phone and delegate as much of your work as you can, even if it means you'll make less money. Peace of mind is worth it.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Your team is ready to help. They just don't know how to do this yet. Build a sense of community by keeping everyone informed of what you care about, what you're doing and what you need.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I feel like I've been climbing the mountain my entire life professionally and personally, including my love and my health. I'm having a medical procedure in August/September to help improve my quality of life. I always feel like things are about ready to turn for the better, but it just keeps lingering on and on. I'm an optimistic Virgo, but I'm running out of steam. What do the stars show? I'm a Virgo born Sept. 20, 1960. Thanks for any guidance you can offer." You've arrived at the perfect moment for making monumental life shifts. Yet because you have so much to emotionally clear first, this won't appear as intuitively obvious (or even as good news). What you're experiencing is a lifetime's worth of emotional backlog, an accumulation of nasty things to process (losses, sadness and regrets). Process you must, and through 2008 you'll be cleaning the temple of mind, body and spirit. It's important for you, sensitive Virgo, to release your emotional body; otherwise, unresolved emotions will continue to control your physical body. In addition to traditional therapies, look at alternative, holistic ones, like E.F.T. (Emotional Freedom Technique), to bypass feelings of futility. You can do this!
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Will Cancer Selma Blair continue to play young ingenues, or draw on her moody wiles to play more subtly demanding parts? Think steamy temptress, working mom or murder-mystery siren. She's got more characters in her than the one she's played. Sneaky Venus in Gemini gives Blair that intriguing X-factor. She could go anywhere this year. Let's see Blair's sophisticated side.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
