Saturn, the planet of lessons, and Neptune, the planet of dreams, are in opposition. So are our ideas about what we want and what we're willing to do. If only we could diet without discipline, work our muscles without exercise and love a partner without compromise. Alas, if we could, goal-getting would be a meaningless journey.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You can deal with whatever funky energies are coming from your workplace. Will the wizard be unmasked? Maybe. But you take no pleasure in that. You just want to do your own job very well.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Forego any discussions about religion, race or world events. Your life philosophy can peacefully coexist with someone else's. Actually, it has to if you're to have the energy to tackle your aspirations.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). An authority figure or boss is MIA. If you see a potential problem lurking, perform due diligence in his or her absence. You might not be immediately rewarded for this, but you will be in time.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Your partner needs your wisdom -- more than a healing embrace, less than a sermon. Your empathy is high. It feels so deeply satisfying to give. The more you do, the more you have for yourself.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You were hoping investors would be padding your pockets with crisp hundred (or thousand) dollar bills by now. Waiting is the hardest part. Keep your faith high.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (June 25). You'll be singing a freedom song this year. No longer ruled by what you "should" be doing, you make offbeat decisions that are prefect for you and your abundant future. Working with an equal partner in July, you build something you'll be enjoying for years to come. November brings a poignant reunion. Virgo and Scorpio people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 39, 40, 42, 15 and 22.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Who demoted play to second fiddle to work? You've got an itch to scratch. A trip would satisfy your hunger for adventure and refresh your spirit. It doesn't have to be far away or expensive.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Your family is a testing force in your life. Sometimes their behavior is totally irrational, but you get it because there's a piece of them in you. Embrace the wacky.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You've logged enough hours at the office during the past year for two of you. Take the vacation already. Things won't go perfectly without you, but they'll go just the same.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Bone-dry bank account? Don't worry. Continue walking toward that money oasis in the distance. Is it real? That's not the point. The point is to keep going.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You have the power to mentally attract whatever it is you want. Wealth. Love. Believe that the world needs what you have to offer, and someone shows up to prove it to you.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You really want to please those close to you, but you're better off pleasing yourself. When you follow your own bliss, you end up making others happy, too. Eventually.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). It's in the small gestures -- traffic and the grocery store, for instance -- that your true self is revealed. Empathy for your fellow man improves the state of your soul.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "My birth date is April 10, 1975. My husband's is Oct. 12, 1970. I'm five months pregnant, and unfortunately I have to terminate the pregnancy this next week due to the genetic problems found. Emotionally, I'm not doing well. My family is being very supportive, but I feel alone in my situation. Will my husband and I stay together after this? Will we be able to have children? I don't think I can go through this process again. My husband wants to try for another baby in three months' time, but I don't think I'll be ready this year, or ever."
I'm very sorry for your loss. Together, your charts have very strong connections that speak to your ability, as a couple, to weather tough times with grace and mutual understanding. Let him be there for you. You risk isolating him due to the grief you're experiencing. Not knowing the full details of the genetic difficulty (and how it impacts your ability to conceive), this loss doesn't appear permanent. However, I'm no doctor. Deciding when and if to try again is your decision.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Chris Isaak's voice is smooth like butter. Or water. Water's greatest strength is its nonresistance, clearly heard in the smooth, peaceful grooving of this Cancerian musician. His style has been described as rockabilly surf-rock, appreciable by any water sign. His Mars in Pisces gives him that smoldering Elvis quality the ladies love, and an easygoing, unassuming presence for the gents.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew

Is Everybody In?

Ms. Giles currently lives in Colorado where she stars in her own private reality show. She writes aphoristic accounts of her life, taken completely out of context, and embellished with characters and situations disguised to resemble something close to interesting.
