TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (April 8). People look up to you. This month, indulge yourself. Let yourself have the top thing on your wish list -- it's within your realm. Your private life becomes fascinating to outsiders in May. Should you write a book about this? You'll be asked to speak or council others. An investment pays off in September. Leo and Libra people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 6, 20, 45, 11 and 50. Mars, the warrior, and Pluto, the father of fate, are locked in an intense game of tug of war. The influence is both global and personal. A scientific breakthrough in matters having to do with genetics is indicated. On a personal level, the planets support you in coming to terms with part of your legacy or genetic inheritance.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Patience is just not your thing. Maybe you can rename the so-called virtue, though, and tolerate the lengthy wait you must endure today. Call it "anticipation" instead, and then try your best to savor it.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). People who think like you, talk like you and act like you are, well, geniuses, of course! Why wouldn't you want to spend more time with such beings? You'll get that opportunity today and tomorrow.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). A relationship seems to be developing rapidly in the wrong direction. You're not sure how this started, but you're sure you don't want it to continue. Find the most charming way possible to put the brakes on.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You're looking for a perfect match in both business and pleasure. Take into account that everyone has a different style. Jumping to conclusions too quickly may prevent you from unearthing someone's total talent.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). The day has many offerings -- some tempting, many laughable and still others too good to pass up. You could act as the judge and jury, but it's so much more fun to be the court jester.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Use your unique aptitude for growing things. No matter how small the effort may seem, it will lead to a windfall. Love teases you now but will commit soon. To speed up the momentum of a relationship, travel together.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). The stars encourage you to get serious about your money for the length of time it takes to decide what to do. Once it's done, relax. It's only money. Advice offered by a Taurus or Capricorn is especially good.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Though the spotlight is on someone near instead of you, take heart. You gain residual credit by being a loyal supporter. Also, a romance that was off limits in the past is now readily available.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Everyone remembers things differently, and there's bound to be a little turbulence over the discrepancy. Your way is right, of course. Don't try and convince anyone of this -- it's a waste of time.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Responsibility doesn't seem so burdensome. You actually thrive when you can take on a little more than before. Rewards could come as soon as this evening!
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Your fantasy seems slightly more vivid than your reality. Such is the life of a dreamer! You can make your wild notion real with a little more intention and work.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You're voracious! Productive! Passionate! Still, there's a tendency to go off on a tangent. This keeps the energy high. Don't be surprised when wires are crossed in the relay of information; make back-up plans to compensate.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I am very discriminating when it comes to my private life. I finally have my eye on someone I think I could like. Do you think we'd make a good match? My birthday is March 3, 1959, and I am attracted to a woman born Dec. 9, 1959.
Making the first move can be nerve-racking, but remember, you don't have to tell all in your initial meeting. Your charts reveal many favorable aspects that look promising for romance. Your Pisces sun is trined (blending of energy) with Venus in Scorpio in her chart, creating a balance between your sympathetic nature and her need for demonstrative affection. Perhaps the most promising aspects are your Sagittarius moon conjunct (in the same position) with her Mars and Jupiter in Sagittarius, as well as trining her moon in Aries. These are solid emotional connections with exciting overtones of sexual attraction. My guess is she's had her eye on you and has been waiting for you to make your move. Don't wait too long -- her Sagittarius influences could cause her to get restless.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Creating some of the best cinema of the 20th century was not enough for adventurous Aries Francis Ford Coppola. A man who listens to his passions, Coppola took his love of fine wine and turned it into a successful Napa winery with his own private label. Aries is the sign of beginner's luck. I predict Coppola will lend his Midas touch to yet another enterprise -- perhaps gourmet food.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | Hola Amigos! I'm Sandra. I like to believe that people are 70 percent good and 30 percent dumb. I'm stickin to that story. Reading this blog might make you want to be good, but probably just dumb. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
