The sun enters the sign of the fierce and majestic Lion today, so let your love light shine! The hearty sign of Leo warms everyone's creativity and individuality so they shine brighter and bolder. Ferociously insist on your unlimited creative potential. When you express the unique talents and gifts you've been given, you radiate strength.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Comfortable doing what you've done before? That's the precise reason you won't do it today. Bucking the tried and true, you take a leap into the unknown, untried and unbelievably exciting!
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Your mission is to be supportive and fair. You're willing to listen to both sides of a story, but in doing so you'll only discover that there are definitely more than two sides.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). People will rise to your expectation, provided it's higher than their own. Treat those on your team like they're thoroughbreds, and they won't turn into nags.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Part of the way you show your love is to offer advice. Those who are on the listening end of your wisdom might not realize that this is a sign of your abundant affection. Let them know.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You're looking for ways to quench your thirst for thrills. You could fall for the dangerous types: the proud scoundrel or the committed seducer. Or you could just go shopping.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (July 22). Spectacular love is featured this year. This starts with you taking care of yourself. Broken relationships automatically mend as you put yourself first. September brings life-changing education. November brings business contacts and impressive production. Scorpio and Capricorn people treat you just how you'd like to be treated. Your lucky numbers are: 40, 22, 14, 39 and 18.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Those in charge aren't necessarily competent and working in everyone's best interests. Think before you follow. Power isn't greatness, but greatness will always find its power.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). It's been said that a gentleman is a man who can play the accordion, but doesn't. You're respected because you exercise restraint, keeping the level of decorum high.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You refuse to acknowledge a situation's difficulty. So a scene that could have been awkward is good humored instead. Unpleasantness melts away in the light of your sunny spirit.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Friends may not come through for you with what they say they'll do, but they come through with something else. Keep an open mind. The new item is just as helpful.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). What is effortless to you will take a huge amount of effort for someone else to pull off. The best way to acknowledge and appreciate your skills is to take a rest. Relax.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Instead of fixing the flat tire, you get a new car. Or instead of returning a phone call, you send a bouquet. Your overreaction will kick off a lucky chain of events.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Your heart sends you subliminal love notes to help you stay on the path to happiness. Note any interesting dreams, gut reactions or unusual experiences -- clues to light your purpose.
FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: The entry of the sun into Leo this week plays on our passion for life and elan vital -- the vital life force of our spirit and our belief in the power of love. The story of Beauty and the Beast captures Leo's yearning to live our true potential, that magnanimous ability to love beyond all circumstances by falling in love with the incredible talents and gifts sometimes hidden beneath beastly appearances. In the story, despite being poor, Beauty doesn't want riches, but only a single red rose symbolizing love, a wealth stronger than money. When she meets Beast, she shares her beauty and acceptance, and the beast is soothed. When lustrous Lion receives loving acceptance from one who honors the true beauty within, his curse is lifted and he's free to truly dance. Don't be fooled by appearances. The Leo sun is an original beauty because it's learned to love its own beastly qualities. The trick with Leo is peeling back the illusive clouds of smallness that darken talent. When we live our gifts, Leo empowers our radiant, beautiful vitality. And we're free to have the time of our lives.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Don Imus continues to shock with his royal roar. With the powerful masculine planets -- sun, Mars and Pluto -- in Leo, there's nothing shy about this audacious guy. The word "audacity," like "audience," originates from the Latin root (SET ITAL) audere (END ITAL) meaning "to hear." By listening to his public and sponsors, and taking their message to his Leo heart, Imus may just be able to recover from recent setbacks.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
