Why is it when you first get the TiVo, you start recording everything you've ever wanted to see on tv?  It starts to become an issue to go to work, because you've got so much stuff recorded that you haven't watched, you just can't keep up.  Then you start fast-forwarding through some boring shows, and then wonder why you are even bothering at all.   But you can't stop!  You've got TiVo, you damn well better use it.  Or, you realize there are more motorcycle races and episodes of South Park than Laguna Beach  or The Hills.  And of course, you don't remember scheduling it to record the X-Games, so you think someone has somehow figured out how to take up all your memory with guy shows....then you realize your boyfriend is enjoying the TiVo even more than you!  This is when you think of a plan: use the parental controls.   Would that be considered bad?  Exactly how mad do you think he would be?  Or should you just stick with the normal plan: wait until he falls asleep then delete the shows he half watched that have been there since February.  Case-in-point: The Super Bowl.  Why the hell is that thing still saved.  We all know who won.  It really isn't a surprise is it?  Not only that, but we're getting into this years season, so we don't want to dwell on last years do we?  The answer is no!  Do it, press Delete!

I am so telling on you! Just kidding, I don't have Tivo, but I can imagine how it could become an obsession. My husband would fill it up with Basketball games and episodes of American Chopper (ugh-can't they just get along??)
no time for tivo

I miss so many shows I want to watch already. If I had Tivo, I would spend what little free time I do have sitting in front of the TV. No Tivo for me thanks. Good luck erasing shows. =o)

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
