TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (April10). What you do for love brings abundance to your world this year. Make your financial and career wishes known to all in the next three weeks. Be specific and bold -- you are deserving! Behind the door that opens to you by month's end is a perfect fit. Special training pays handsomely in July. Partnerships with Libra and Scorpio people are golden. Your lucky numbers are: 44, 12, 25, 9 and 53.
The moon in Virgo throws cosmic focus on efforts related to any kind of improvement, but especially that having to do with health and the body. Ties between our diet and our energy levels may be so bone-headedly obvious that we actually didn't see them -- until now. Good nutrition favorably affects social and even financial discourse.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). If you end a relationship, you not only lose what you put into it, but you also lose what the other person put into it. Consider whether there's a way to keep someone in your life in a new capacity rather than ending things completely.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). There are superstars in every business, and it's about time you got to know one of the superstars in your business. Besides reading or listening to lectures, you may be able to have a personal interaction with such a person.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You wisely realize that the one with the most toys at the end of the game is not necessarily the winner. Look beyond the material and into what you are spiritually exchanging with those around you.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You're honest, so you have a hard time seeing why anyone would be less than honest. An accurate assessment of your situation depends on being able to see the world from another person's point of view.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You realize what held you back last week. You do need more money, but that's just part of it. As Abraham Lincoln said, "Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing."
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Only the strongest person can forgive -- really forgive. That means not holding someone's past behavior against them in any way. In this way, forgiving and forgetting are essentially the same thing. You are capable of this.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Your own agenda must be served -- it's really in the best interest of everyone! You have this clever way of appearing absentminded and otherworldly for the purpose of getting out of menial work, but a direct "no" will work, too.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You look deeply into another being in order to figure out the potential of your relationship together. This you do instinctually -- within seconds, you know the answer. Trust that.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Your inner life needs as much tender loving care as your outer life. Attention to your thoughts, ideas and dreams will push your development along more quickly than any action you could take today.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). There's someone you've been thinking about quite a lot lately. You will create a bond by revealing something interesting and intimate about yourself, and encouraging the other person to do the same.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Everything works out as it should. Repeat this affirmation often and with great enthusiasm, especially when nothing goes as planned. Fortuitous meetings involve a fellow air sign (Libra or Gemini).
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Friendships have highs and lows just like love relationships, but differences in sensibility or misunderstandings are not substantial enough to strain a friendship for long.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I'm puzzled. If a birthday falls close to another sign, do you often have traits of the other sign? I feel I am a pretty strong-hearted Leo, but Aug. 21 is so close to the cusp that my Leo traits are often overshadowed by unseen forces that stifle my creativity and ambition."
I wish I knew the year of your birth! This information is required to do your chart. You're correct in noticing that nobody is all one sign. Even though you relate to your Leo birth sign, you also relate to other energies in your chart -- the placement of your moon and all of the planets in their various stations at the moment you were born. In fact, every person has every sign represented to some degree, however minute, in his or her natal chart. When a chart is rendered, each sign of the zodiac rules one house of the chart. These house rulers act as nuggets of potentiality -- optional ways of being, attitudes, experiences -- regarding each area of our lives. I believe that free will plays the biggest role in our destiny. Astrology is best used as a tool to gain more information and leverage over situations, not as a limiting force that tells us what we can and can't be.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Dynamic Aries Hugh Hefner revolutionized the 20th-century publishing world through the launch of his controversial men's publication, "Playboy." A nontraditional family man who adores his two sons, Marston and Cooper, I see Hefner embracing an even more traditional family life this upcoming year as he whittles his current girlfriend-count down to a very honorable ONE.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
