Bas Bleu puts on new play |

 With Bas Bleu Theatre Company’s expansion project, Limelight Theatre, in full swing since 2004, the production is set to debut yet another new cast of characters with “The Illusion.”
“The Illusion” tells the story of a regretful father, Pridamant, awaiting news of the son he banished years earlier. The father seeks out the sorcerer, Alcandre, for information about his long-lost son, but is given three enchanting glimpses into his life instead.
Not unlike the ghosts of Christmas past, he is allowed to sit idly by and watch stories of his son’s life unfold, but cannot change anything that happens.
With guest director Jeremy Make and a cast of 18- to 28-year-olds behind the script, the theatre provides opportunities for local amateur actors to get audience exposure and stage time while providing quality entertainment to the community.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
