As the moon moves from Virgo into Libra, the ingredients of a relationship are as measured as a cake recipe. While Libra wants equal parts in everything, Virgo adds modifications, heavy on honest, loving communication. Mercury and the sun lighten the batter with thoughtful conversation. Pluto and Venus deepen it with a secret wish.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Differentiate between what you want to know and what you'd rather not focus on. Once your mind is stretched to include all you learn today, it won't return to its previous state.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You have so much promise. While some think it's cool to be jaded, you're better to go the opposite direction. Keep naive optimism alive, and you'll eventually embody your dreams, one by one.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Someone likes you -- a lot. Maybe because you sensed what this person needs and provide exactly that. Or maybe because your strong underlying sense of identity is so attractive. Probably a little of both.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). There's no stigma against being human. So stop worrying that you should be stronger. When you need a nap, take a nap. And when you're lonely, pick up the phone.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). It's hard to convince the confident cat that insecurities are a good thing. But really, Leo, they are. If you weren't vulnerable in some way, no one could relate to you or feel the pride that comes from being needed by you.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (Aug. 15). You have a steely resolve this year to make one powerful change. By January you're halfway there. Don't run out of steam. Strengthen your powers of visualization. With the help of meditation and a few key decisions in February, you can achieve your aim in Spring 2008. Gemini and Sagittarius people are winning supporters. Your lucky numbers are: 1, 33, 49, 36 and 21.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Sit tight and think the thoughts that make you feel good. Until your current situation has blown over, it doesn't make sense to take action. Send out happy vibes -- that's action enough.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Ideally you have a clear goal. But right now, a fuzzy feeling that you want to be doing "this" or even "not that" will be enough to progress you to the next stage.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Did you know that your sign is associated with eagles as well as scorpions? Eagles don't hang out in flocks, and they prefer to hunt alone. You'll have luck now when you do the same.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You continually do what makes you happy. No need to feel guilty about that. After all, what kind of friend would begrudge you a life filled with more pleasure? Hopefully not you!
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). You're part of fascinating conversations with people you would do well to impress. Offer something unique about yourself to secure a peculiar, powerful place in someone's imagination.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You're in the mood for familiar faces and places. You feel grounded around voices from your past. And you provide a similar sense of comfort for others.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). It's a fine time to get rid of things that don't work for you, including relationships, goals or ideas. After your figurative trip to the dump, it will be easier to see what you need to do next.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I was born July 7, 1948. During the past two years, I have struggled to recover from health and business problems that have sidelined my professional and personal goals. Everything's significantly improved, and I feel better and more confident of the future than I have in years, but worry that I may be overly optimistic. I'm not happy where I am now living and working, and yearn to move to the Northeast and restart my life there. Overall, I'm full of cautious hope. What does the future hold?" Sending a big hug through the astral waves! This birthday year, give yourself time to gently recover and heal. Examine whether your limiting circumstances are real, or a leftover perception from two years of wearing dark-colored glasses. I see you shedding outgrown skin. Your attitude will change, but not necessarily your latitude! While I'm not discouraging you, a cross-country move now, at your second Saturn return, warrants cautious hope. After just finding your balance, a huge move is disruptive -- are you ready for that? It takes years to make friends, establish contacts and feel at home. Instead of one big leap, a small one changes everything. CELEBRITY PROFILES: Romance-making falls under the domain of Leo, who, when it comes to courtship rituals, lavishes his object of affection with demonstrative love. Danielle Steel's novels capture the luxury-loving aspect of the romantic Lion -- wealth, affluence, beauty and love. Is it every woman's fantasy to be scooped up by a handsome mogul? We're not complaining.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
