It was only a short 87 years ago today that women gained the right to vote. This radical idea was first proposed at the first Womenís Rights Convention in 1848 -- an idea many considered ridiculous! The Aquarius moon challenges your conventional notions of the radical and ridiculous. If Susan B. Anthony did it, so can you!
ARIES (March 21-April 19). There's the slightest break in the tension between you and someone delicious, but the bubble of intrigue that surrounds the two of you will not pop yet. Enjoy this temporary state of anticipation.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). New friends are everywhere -- standing next to you in line, riding next to you on the freeway, visiting the office next to yours. An off-the-cuff comment is all it takes to start something.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). The theme is "the power of context." It's environment and timing that make gestures meaningful, the words profound. So don't worry about what you're going to do or sayójust show up where you know you need to be.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You have no idea how powerfully intense you can be without even trying. Even your most casual conversation could be too much intimacy for a certain extremely private person. Don't expect that person to change.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Enhancing your natural aptitudes will bring you much more pleasure and profit than will struggling to be good at everything. Aries and Sagittarius help where you need it mostódon't fight them when they offer.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (AUGUST 26). This birthday brings on a rainshower of blessings. In September, being around a certain someone makes you feel like you're floating in the gravity-free zone. You can assert your creativity and make money at it in October. January is a special time in your family story. You share exciting experiences with Capricorn and Aries. Your lucky numbers are 11, 39, 22, 19 and 13.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). A break in your hectic schedule gives you the time you need to dream, think and plan out a big event in your near future. Creative ideas abound and excite. You're quietly inspired by artistic friends.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Finances are like a game to you now. Contrary to what some believe, the object of the game is not to get ahead and stay ahead -- the object is to get the maximum amount of enjoyment out of each dollar.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). It's commonly thought that being first in line is best. But this is a time to be mellow, gracious and humble. Refuse to push or jockey for position. Wherever you land is the best place in the world.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You're in the minds of others more than you realize. When you run into people you haven't seen in a while, don't be surprised to find out how much they've missed you. You're on someone's radar.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). A change in you brings about a change in your object of affection. You'll see the evidence of this tonight. RSVP "yes" to the invitation you get in the mail. New friends await.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Destruction is part of growth, so when the glass breaks or the machine won't work anymore, take it as a sign that it's time to move on. Tonight: You're trusted with something precious. Show care.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). It's dangerous to believe everything you hear, and spending everything you have is also not recommended. Giving all you've got, however, is the one extreme act that will bring happy rewards.
FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: This weekís big event happens invisibly in the wee morning hours of Tuesday (in the United States) as Virgo sun eclipses the full moon in Pisces. This set of Pisces/Virgo Eclipses, one lunar and then one solar two weeks from now, is a part of a monumentally larger cycle -- these same eclipses repeated 18 years ago! This lunar eclipse highlights our emotional needs, a check-in on the cosmic couch. When it comes to emotions, Piscesí cup overfloweth, so we may have a hard time gaining emotional perspective. You may ponder dramatic moves, like selling your favorite guitar and giving up on a dream, yikes! But maybe all you really need is a good walk on the beach to clear your mind so a new insight can appear on the horizon. Remember, the fishes flow in two directions, mimicking the emotional experience of having both hands tied, but itís an illusion. Surrender breaks Pisces' invisible cords. If youíre searching for clues on your own eclipse stirrings, think back to 18 years ago for similar themes. Because the eclipseís job is to move us along our life path, thereís a chance your life story is repeating and evolving in an upward direction this week!
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Celebrities have to ride the rise and fall of public favor; itís a side effect of the business. With his moon in the collective sign of Pisces, Macaulay Culkin's (8/26/80) child stardom was a major wave -- until it receded. With four planets, including his sun, in the sign of apprenticeship, Virgo, Macaulay might mentor someone he admires before making a new career move this year.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
