Greeley Community Theatre Troupe announces auditions for "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever," based on the story by Barbara Robinson, Friday, September 21, 6-8:30 p.m. for children 5-14, and Saturday, September 22, 1-4 p.m. for young people and adults 15-90. No apppointments necessary.
Greeley Central High School Auditorium, 1515 14th Avenue in Greeley. Enter through backstage door off the northwest parking lot.
Be prepared to sing your favorite Christmas song, and to read from the script. Some improvisational activities may also be part of this audition.
Up to 12 speaking roles for children and 9 speaking roles for adults available, as well as large chorus of children. Families are encouraged to audition together.
Rehearsals begin October 2, and are held basically Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings until two weeks before production.
Production dates: December 14, 15 (for the public), 17, 18 (matinee performances for local school children)

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
