The "Leave Britney Alone" Guy — you know, that man on YouTube who's been bleating and weeping over America's ill-treatment of Britney Spears — may be getting a TV show.
Production company 44 Blue Productions has signed a deal to develop a show around 19-year-old Chris Crocker, whose manic, obsessive, repetitive, ritualistic ramblings in defense of Brit's lifestyle, Brit's talents, Brit's mothering skills — heck, Brit's very Being — generated eight million hits on YouTube in one week. And it has given Crocker network TV exposure on Jimmy Kimmel Live and other chat shows.
Variety says Crocker's "docu-soap" would document the kid's life in Tennessee, where he lives with his grandparents.
"It's going to pretty much be the 'Chris Crocker experience,'" said 44 Blue cofounder Rasha Drachkovitch.
"We consider him a rebel character that people will find interesting. He's going to be a TV star."
——— JUSTIN MUM ON BRITNEY Meanwhile, Oprah Wednesday consulted with one of the world's foremost Britney Spears experts, asking her first love, Justin Timberlake, the question that has haunted the world for weeks: "What . . . is going on with Britney?"
Um, dunno, Justin said on Oprah's gab show. "I haven't spoken to her in years."
Justin said that the extraordinary love affair he had with Britney way back in the early 2000s was little more than a teen romance.
"What I do know about her is she has a huge heart, and she is a great person."
As for his new love, Jessica Biel? He didn't mention her by name, but admitted he sings to her.
"I get pretty romantic around her." | Only registered users can write comments. Please login or register. |

| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
