ALL WORK AND ALL PLAY
“I love my job, and work is a big part of my life, but it’s hard to separate how much of it is work and how much is passion. It’s all one big thing,” Gov’t Mule guitarist Warren Haynes said. “The most satisfaction you can have in life is loving your work.”
CHOICES, CHOICES
Haynes has a small stable of vintage and custom guitars to play every night. But if he had to choose two above all the others? His vintage 1961 Gibson ES-335 would be his electric option. His acoustic is surprisingly only a couple years old, a Martin D-19 Golden Era. “It’s new, but they make them like they did in old days,” Haynes said. “They rival the sound from the old days.”

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
