This Mercury opposition to Uranus excites the diverse and complex aspects of human nature to hash it out through conversation with people we thought we knew well. It turns out that no matter how well we think we understand our friends, there is always some latent belief lurking to entice us to do battle -- or at least, do "argument." Pluto goes direct to affirm that we can still unite with people we don't exactly agree with.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). The stars highlight your youthful vitality -- it's wonderful and distracting, and wonderfully distracting. You need to burn off a certain amount of physical energy before you feel mentally clear. So exercise frequently. This weekend sees you kicking back with friends. It feels good to know whom you can trust.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). This week is about striking a beautiful balance. If you're dealing too often with that irascible someone in the early week, by the latter week you (SET ITAL) become (END ITAL) the irascible someone. So limit your exposure and plan to call, visit and work with the smiling, laughing types. Virgo and Sagittarius are attracted to you.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Not one to be satisfied with the status quo, you're devising systems to get you through the week with more than the usual amount of grace. Whether it's a simple pad by the telephone, a different closet arrangement or a new schedule at work, you'll be doing your best to implement it straight away. Tuesday is most romantic.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Regarding personal matters as significant as where you're ultimately going to live and how you're going to make your living, your mind is still not completely made up. So much happens in the spaces of Tuesday and Wednesday. Take your time. Rushing around does no good. Dawdling is creative. Gemini is an ally.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Nothing unusual about family life this week -- just the normal chaos. The difference is that you're discovering how to ride the wave, instead of standing in front of it with your hand held out in a defiant "Stop!" -- only to get doused. On Social Saturday, enjoy the audience in attendance at your latest, greatest story.
THIS WEEK'S BIRTHDAYS: This year seduces you with its promises of pleasure, and then the most remarkable thing happens -- it delivers. There is much for you to enjoy over the next seven weeks in particular. Loved ones give you more attention and entertain you, and you laugh many an evening away. That's not to say you won't be working hard during the day, carving out a niche that better suits your talents. A move is featured in December. Travel in March. Cement a powerful relationship in July.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're a stickler when it comes to creating an orderly life, free of negative influences and bad habits. But why struggle so? Maybe the answer is not in giving up your bad habits, but in finding something even more compelling to do. This week offers you inspiration in the form of new people and studies to investigate.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Hip, hip, hooray! Someone is ready to give you what you want. All you have to do is ask, trust and get ready to be answered. The key is in making sure you are asking the right person. When you do your research, the financial picture looks brighter on Thursday and Friday. Aquarius and Gemini are tuned in to you.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Anyone who has ever eaten as much chocolate cake as they thought they wanted has experienced the point in which self-rewarding becomes self-punishing. You're walking a similarly fine line this week. You're deserving of great things. The tricky part is in choosing the right great things for you. A Taurus can help.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). This week is as unpredictable as you are. Romantic notions that burn in your heart one day are put out with a bucket of ice water the next. You're tempted to chalk it up to a "live and learn" experience, but the truth is, the "living" part is so riveting, it may take a while to get around to the "learning."
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). When your surroundings are lovely, so is your mood. Which is why your efforts to clean, clear, paint and polish are extremely worthwhile -- and the sooner the better. Family plays into your feelings about yourself at the end of the week. Perhaps it's time to forgive and forget the incident that was so long ago.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Usually when you enter a new arena of people, you find many friends and associates you can relate to. But this week features a situation so foreign, it reminds you of Dorothy and crew entering the land of Oz. This may take some getting used to. Ultimately it's rewarding. Hang in there with your famously open mind.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Almost anything that can be done this week can be done over later if you don't like it. So try not to agonize over your choices, such as whether or not to paint that wall, book that trip or date your current intrigue. You're not likely to regret following your instinct. Scorpio and Virgo are a deliciously bad influence!

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
