TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (April12). Your respect for those who came before you plays a big part in this year's success. You'll soon be face to face with an intriguing person who will open your heart to new depths of love. You're learning an art, and by June, you know the basics. Commit to this endeavor, and you could soon become a master. Leo and Libra people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 2, 22, 45 and 31.
It's the eve of the full moon in Libra -- the first full moon of the spring. This communal energy is all about connecting in soft, intellectual but meaningful ways. Whether or not you make plans to be with those you are fond of, you'll wind up together in the lighthearted spirit of Libra sometime in the next 48 hours.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). A problem you are having can be solved with air and mirrors. In other words, hiding it in the dark won't help. Take it out, and talk about it. Let others reflect a response. Once you do, there's a swift resolution.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You love a person you have created in your mind -- a version of the real person who is standing in front of you. Harmony depends on your being able to see a more complete image of this individual.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). You're not one to be a follower, but if someone has a success formula, why not use it? Yours is a competitive field. It takes more than natural talent to win at this game.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Gravitate toward those who are strong in the areas where you are weak, and do some delegating. Those talented, intense, twisted friends of yours influence you well now.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). A career is a process. Some days it seems you are not moving forward at all. It's just that you've grown accustomed to such a fast pace that moderate movement feels like standing still.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). There are two kinds of problems in the world: 1) yours, and 2) theirs. Distinguish between the two, and you're much happier. Tonight, you could be suddenly struck by a deep and indefinable feeling of affection.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Your life is a work of art. Thoughtfully, move ahead with all the tools you have at your disposal. The new habits you establish create different patterns. The patterns create a different you.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). There are daring moves that even you wouldn't make, but imagine what it would be like if you did. This exercise gets you thinking outside the box, which just happens to be where all of the action is.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Your judgment is fabulous. Still, it's the old one-step-forward-two-steps-back dance. What's different? Your attitude. Play, and have fun with the obstacles. They make you unique.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Your incredible sense of responsibility is more than a positive quality; it's a talent! This is one of the reasons so many people need you. Don't forget that your first responsibility is to yourself.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Even if you're not the leader of a group, your opinion and attitude will sway others. Be aware of your power, and use it for good. Aries friends are lucky. Romance visits tonight.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). The song says you can't hurry love, but the song is wrong. Love often happens in a hurry, and when it's not happening fast enough for you, you might take this as a sign that it's time to move on.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I was born Dec. 17, 1968, in Norristown, Pa. I was wondering if my current path is the right one. I am in my third year of nursing school. When I was two years old, I was badly burned by a pot of hot coffee. Thankfully, with the help of God and some wonderful doctors, I was able to recover very well. My scars can be covered by clothing, and I live a good life, blessed with a wonderful husband and three children. I want to give back, I guess I would say, and use my experience with burns to work in the burn unit at a hospital in my area. Do you feel it's the correct path for me?"
Yes. Your Sagittarius fire sign is offset by a watery Scorpio moon, which speaks of your bravery as well as your soulfulness. I encourage you to see your early childhood incident not only as an actual event, but in a metaphorical sense, as well. You sense that you are called to help others recover from their life's "burns," be they from coffee, fire or angry emotions and difficult circumstances. There are no accidents -- only what happens in our story and what we do with it.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: British singer Joss Stone may be young, but her rich and sultry voice tells us she definitely has soul. Self-confidence comes naturally for an Aries, and it definitely helped land Stone on the top of the charts at such a tender age. Look for Stone to embrace her newfound position as a role model, mentoring young girls like her, who have similar big dreams.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
