Q. I think my boyfriend is cheating on me. He’s been acting aloof lately and is very evasive when I ask him what’s wrong. How can I find out without asking him directly, which would make him angry, or without hiring Magnum P.I.?

JENNIFER: Don’t jump to any conclusions or overanalyze the situation, which we all tend to do! Some guys prefer not to share their stresses or concerns with their girl, for whatever reason. Just try to be yourself and don’t annoy him with the “What’s wrong?” question every time you talk. Give him some time, and if things don’t improve then be honest and tell him how you’re feeling.
JON: What makes you think he’s cheating on you? Did you actually see him do anything? The best way to see if he’s cheating is to plan a lot of stuff to do with him. That will take up his time so he won’t have time to cheat and/or you’ll spend more time with him and find out that maybe he’s just stressed out with other things on his mind.
Q. My girlfriend and I slept together for the first time last night, and mean actually slept. We discovered something: We’re both left-side-of-the-bed sleepers. Trying to be a gentleman, I took the right side. I tossed and turned all night. This seems trivial, but I don’t think I can handle many more nights on the right side of the bed. Is this a deal breaker?

JENNIFER: This is trivial… or at least it should be! Maybe one of you can give the other side of the bed a try for at least a week. I’m sure you can get used to it. If something this simple ends up being a deal breaker then obviously you guys aren’t meant to be for the long haul.
JON: Here’s the answer to your problem. If you both like to sleep on the left side of the bed, have her sleep on her back and you sleep on your stomach. 10 toes up & 10 down! Oh but then Sally wouldn’t get his beauty sleep would he.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
