Art fans should make a trip to the Walnut Street Gallery in Fort Collins this weekend to add behind-the-scenes photographs of the legendary Paul McCartney to their collection.
Walnut Street is one of seven galleries in the United States to feature the “Each One Believing: On Stage, Off Stage and Backstage” photos by photographer Bill Bernstein.
Bernstein was allowed exclusive access and was able to capture rare photos of Sir Paul’s 2003-2004 world tour.
The gallery will feature photographs and the Each One Believing book, a compilation of Bernstein’s photographs with personal reflections by McCartney and others.
“People will get a glimpse of life backstage, and looks of an iconic figure,” Bernstein said. “It was an important tour for him (McCartney) and so the book becomes an important document.”

Walnut Street Gallery was started in 1989 by the wife and husband team, Laura and Bill Eveleigh. The couple originally intended the gallery to feature fine art but they stumbled upon an untapped art niche: the art of rock ’n’ roll.
Having read a trade magazine, Laura and Bill discovered that Ronnie Wood of the Rolling Stones was an artist and that he was looking for galleries in the U.S. to represent his work. They put in a few phone calls and were so successful selling Wood’s work they were unable to keep the pieces in stock. From there the business bloomed.
“We stumbled on the fact that people buying (art) were 30 to 50 years old and that music was very important to them,” Laura said.
Prints of the photographs can be ordered in the gallery and will be signed by both McCartney and Bernstein.
The show runs through Nov. 2.

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)
We call it insight, you call it what you will. | |

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
