Taurus energy is materialistic. It's not as shallow as it sounds, though, as the physical world is a manifestation of the spiritual world, and each realm is affected by changes in the other. As the sun and new moon are in Taurus, it's an ideal time to realize your possessions are an extension of yourself and care for them accordingly.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Money issues arise in the afternoon, especially between partners who are still learning to trust each other. It works best if everyone sticks to the original financial plan.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). What a dreamy day. The stars feature moments of romance, artistry or poetry that produce a feeling of falling -- not plummeting, but a soft descent, a cushioned floating.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Your productivity ebbs and flows through the day. Make a promise to yourself to forge onward regardless of the results. This creates more flowing than ebbing.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). Your intuition often speaks to you in pictures. In the beginning, trying to unravel their meaning is confusing. As you use your talent, there will be no doubt, only direct knowing.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Duties are distributed differently. It's like a game of musical chairs. If you're asked to relinquish your control over a situation, do so gladly. Your freedom brings the opportunity for a fascinating experience.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (April 27). You compete with yourself this year, soaring above the heights you reached before. New friends cheer you on next month. Romance is the biggest motivator, however. In June, you give up participating in one group in order to dedicate yourself to a transformational process. Scorpio and Gemini people help you work (and play) toward ultimate success. Your lucky numbers are: 38, 21, 29, 26 and 3.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). The planets encourage you to give your endeavors the personal touch. Any pursuit that includes glamour, style and elegance will not only be lucky for today, but will also have a lasting influence on your identity.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Most of today is dramatically heightened. There is running instead of strolling, yelling instead of talking, hot sauce instead of salt. Your heart gets a workout.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You have nothing to lose by forging full-steam ahead. If it's not going right, you have everything you need to recognize the problem early on and reverse the trend.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). It's so lucky to thank the people around you who make your life easier, especially those who might normally be overlooked. Tonight, you make a memorable impression on someone important to your future.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Are you still stewing over a friend's thoughtlessness? You'll benefit by speaking openly about your feelings -- maybe not directly to the offender, though, at least not yet.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). About that business endeavor you're considering ... the astral vibes are perfect for planning a way to be your own boss. Three phone calls is all it takes to get this show on the road.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Though you may not have a burning secret, you certainly appear to. That's why you're capturing the attention of interested parties. Some of this attention is unwanted, but you handle it beautifully.
ASTROLOGICAL SPECIAL PART FOUR OF FOUR: Is "What's your sign?" your pick up line? It's an old classic, to the point of being cliche -- but it can still work to open the conversation. That is, if you know how to follow it up! If the answer to this question is CAPRICORN, it behooves you to follow with: (SET ITAL) Are you as in love with your work as many Capricorns are? How do you like to spend your time? What games do you enjoy? Do you play competitively? I've heard that Capricorn people have the best poker face. When was the last time you had to use this skill? (END ITAL) If the answer is AQUARIUS, you can offer: (SET ITAL) Do you have vivid dreams? Can you remember one that came true or was just really weird? What causes do you support? Did you know your sign has a great need to learn something new every day? How do you fulfill this need lately? (END ITAL) PISCES: (SET ITAL) Did you know that Pisces is considered the most psychic sign of the zodiac? How has this been true for you? Venus and Uranus are both in Pisces now. What unusual opportunities have come up for you since April 5th? (Good through May 3rd.) (END ITAL)
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Taurus natives usually have a terrific work ethic, and it's a good thing because their taste is so expensive. "Tonight Show" stalwart Jay Leno has both Taurus qualities. In addition to entertaining the masses every night, he often stops in at comedy clubs to work out material. His legendary car collection is his pride and joy, and it's rumored that he drives a different car to work almost every day!

| | "Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth." | |
| | We're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!)

| | What is up FoCo?
I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
