Mercury and Pluto are in more than an agreeable mood. They're chatting away at the cosmic coffee clutch, sharing ways to shower us with big, meaningful presents that probably won't look like presents at all. The best gifts don't come in big or small packages, but rather, they come in the form of people or responsibilities that shape us.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Being productive depends on your ability to talk yourself into working. Paint bright word pictures and repeat them often -- to yourself and to everyone around you throughout the day.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). The past, happy and not, catches up with you. You might be feeling the pinch of a recent spending frenzy. You might also be getting karmic payback for your fabulous generosity.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Though you won't be directly recognized for today's valiant act, the confidence you gain by living up to your potential attracts all kinds of luck. Character is destiny.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). You're in the vortex of transformation. Whatever you say today will change tomorrow. So stay flexible, leaving room for interpretation. Try to avoid definitive statements and promises.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You're a trendsetter. Friends want you to consult on every new purchase, decision and activity. Meanwhile, you have your own ambitions to chase. There's a brilliant way to serve everyone's interests simultaneously.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 3). You're simply more powerful this year. You rise above challenges that entangled you last year. You discover you don't have to win, that sometimes winning is just letting go. So, you're free! An ideal living arrangement arises this month for the right price. Big love drops into your life in June. Your connections with Leo and Gemini people are creative. Your lucky numbers are: 8, 2, 53, 12 and 51.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Passion rises up in your heart -- someone dangerous appeals to you. Try not to form a romantic attachment with one who cannot make any kind of commitment!
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Doing what you do best brings an instant ego boost. Meetings, especially interviews, go extremely well and not at all how you planned. Luckily, you're flexible and there for the ride.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Someone wants in to your life. You can feel this person on the periphery, just waiting for an inviting gesture from you. You have nothing to lose by being big hearted.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Everyone has "issues." At least you're graced with very interesting ones. You not only focus on the large problem, but also on its quirky nuances -- the details in which, as Einstein affirmed, God resides.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). It's weird how sometimes you don't realize you're having fun while you are having it. Looking backward provides you with the glowing feeling you missed at the time. Today is one you'll be reviewing with a smile in your heart.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Though it's natural to feel jealous of the wild success of others, you can also choose to be inspired instead of annoyed. It might help you to know your day is coming.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Take a chance on being vulnerable. No person is an island. The kind of support you didn't ask for shows up tonight, and it's nice. All you have to do is say "Thank you."
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I've never been in such a good place in my life. My career is going great, along with finances and everything else. So, it's really weird to me that my husband chooses now to become depressed. I don't know what to do about it. He's a Scorpio, and I'm a Leo."
Scorpios often don't express what they really want, so although he may not seem to care about anything, he cares deeply. Your recent success has caused him to feel embarrassed about his own shortcomings and withdraw from you. What you can do is provide an atmosphere in which failure is OK. Scorpios want to succeed, but they need to know they're still loved if they do not.
"My husband is a Taurus who doesn't take care of things the way he should. His credit is a mess, and he pays the bills, but he never pays anything on time. It drives me crazy. Can I change my stubborn, Taurus love?"
No. Taurus is self-motivating with a particular sense of timing. The best thing to do for your man is to let him make his own mistakes. The more you urge him to comply, the longer it will take him to do it.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: Handsome crooner Tim McGraw is a doting dad, a "Faith"-ful husband (wife is fellow singer Faith Hill) and a country superstar. It takes the Taurean mindset of a determined and focused bull to achieve so much in 39 years, but McGraw takes it all in stride. First and foremost a family man, I predict McGraw will work toward producing more family-oriented fare that showcases his and Hill's music.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
