Not one, not two, but three lucky "trines" start the week with more optimism than has been felt or expressed in weeks. The hum of positive energy tunes everyone's brain to its frequency. Curmudgeons will skip. Happy people shatter the emotional glass ceiling and find bliss. What's even better: The effects stretch out over the next few days.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). Selfless acts are most charitable and, therefore, most lucky, in the karmic sense, when they are anonymous. If that is not possible, an attitude of humility is a close second.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). You identify with the material world -- luxuriate in your sensuality. Physical things, even if you own them, are not who you are. Spending time with someone who has nothing will remind you of your pure, spiritual essence.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). In an effort to embrace your inner glamour (or the more masculine "suave"), you toss out things like sensible shoes, logical plans and shrewd financial decisions.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Someone who has been granted your forgiveness on several previous occasions may cross your threshold of patience today. If you can remain calm, you just may be promoted to sainthood.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 7). You create your own brand of stardom this year. Financial aspects are hot now, and in the next three weeks: Make the investment you've contemplated for years. AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You're in the right place. So, when events are not clicking along with the usual ease, it's not a sign to bail. It's just an invitation to work on your social skills. People helping people is the theme.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). You're just plain lucky today. New sources of revenue become available as soon as you start to seriously look. You'll also receive a mysterious and delightful invitation.
FORECAST FOR THE WEEK AHEAD: The planets are always creating music together. Sometimes, their symphony is discordant, strange and moody. Other times, the arrangements are rhythmic and cool. Then, there's this week. The cosmic song rings out, grand and happy, like something that should be sung by Barry Manilow under a light-blue sky with a chorus of angels "oooooing" and "ahhhhing" in the background. Optimism is the magic word. Today features three lucky aspects called "trines" that will positively affect the next few days. There is an excited buzz that builds through the week until Friday, when the full moon in Scorpio brings the culmination of events and an energetic release. The Scorpio full moon likes to illuminate the hidden side of things, but only enough to tantalize us. It's not about learning so much as it is about being mesmerized by the wonder of what normally goes unseen. The moon enters Sagittarius on Saturday, making this a perfect weekend for day trips. Plan one for you and a special mother, perhaps even your own.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: It's taken a lot of Taurean hard work and stamina for crooning Latin heartthrob Enrique Iglesias to come out of his famous father's shadow. With 40 million albums sold, a best-selling cologne and even a few acting roles under his sleek leather belt, Iglesias has yet to reach his penultimate creative and professional peak. Later this year, Iglesias is propelled to stratospheric superstar-status.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
