Under the Virgo moon it feels like you can't get anything started until the mess from the weekend is completely cleaned up. So, you take the garbage out, vacuum the floor and organize the desk ... and just when things start to sparkle, other delays occur. Maybe the real show is what happens while you're waiting for the curtains to open.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Work is never perfect. Just go in with your facts straight and your ego in check. You might find out the opposition is more correct than you are. You can still win by making a quick adjustment.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Sure, you're feeling a bit sensitive, but at least you know how to play it low-key. Better yet, raise the key so you can "sing" in a higher range. Others are dancing to your music.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). It's one thing to know your purpose in life, but it's a hundred times more powerful to put it into words on the page. The stars align to help make specific choices. A document outlining your chief priorities can change your life.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). You're ambitious and driven to win. In your mind, many elements must come together to make this day a success. In reality, your own self-assured style is the biggest factor determining the outcome of this day.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). If you can master a little thing, you can master a big thing. So, when work comes to a standstill or a relationship hits the rocks, the best thing to do may be to leave the situation for a moment while you make the perfect sandwich.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 8). What you'll love most about this year is its unpredictability. Surprises sweep you into a state of thrill every seven weeks or so! Take a financial leap of faith this month and double your money. June is for reconnecting with past ties. There's big love to be mined in the relationship this time around. Sagittarius and Leo people are everything on your wish list. Your lucky numbers are: 2, 5, 19, 45 and 9.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Take it slow and easy so you can get it right the first time. A single-minded focus gives you a competitive edge. Uplifting, cheerful support comes from a Gemini or a Libra.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Your planets highlight the complexities of your personality. You're tough, gutsy and strict one minute and carefree, giggling and absurd the next. Potential loves/clients/friends are riveted when you keep them guessing.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). In the past, you've been dragged through situations that taught you to fend for yourself. Now that you know how to do this, it's challenging to depend on others, but the magic happens when you trust.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Some people see things as they are, but you're busy dreaming things that never were but possibly (or more likely, impossibly) could be. Keep that imagination fueled -- it's your primary asset now.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). The stars encourage you to do a freestyle dance. Make it up as you go. As the Natasha Bedingfield pop song goes, "Today is where your book begins, the rest is still unwritten."

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). It's not true what they say about throwing out the first pancake of the batch. Sometimes, this is the pancake that miraculously turns out to look like Albert Einstein. Today, your first attempts have a remarkable quality.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Wisdom comes from strange sources and not in the most pleasant packaging, either. Nevertheless, if someone criticizes you, accept what is accurate, and change what you can. Then, blow off the rest as "their problem."

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "My daughter, born Feb. 25, 1960, is planning on marrying for the second time to a man born Feb. 16, 1958. Will this work out any better than the last marriage?"
What a loving mother you are! You can channel your concern for your daughter by turning up your mother's intuition and looking into her situation from a loving and detached point of view. Too much interference will really bother your Pisces girl -- she prides herself on having emotional smarts, and her past trouble with marriage is extremely embarrassing to her! No matter what happens, I advise you never to say "I told you so!" From an astrological point of view, this new union looks heavenly! Your daughter has Venus and Mars, the relationship planets, both deposited in Aquarius, along with her moon. Your future son-in-law has his moon in Aquarius, as well as Mercury and Venus all conjunct with your daughter's Aquarius planets. This is an excellent combination, full of loving commitment and thoughtful communication. The most challenging thing about it is keeping the passion alive. Otherwise, it feels like a solid sibling relationship. I would advise your daughter to make a continued effort to keep this couple on the "hot" side.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: The quintessential rock and roll "piano man," Billy Joel will settle down this upcoming year into a family man. Even though he has been married twice before, this Taurean bull found himself entranced and tamed by new wife Kate Lee. I predict Joel and his new better half will welcome a new piano baby into the world by the beginning of 2007.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew

Is Everybody In?

Ms. Giles currently lives in Colorado where she stars in her own private reality show. She writes aphoristic accounts of her life, taken completely out of context, and embellished with characters and situations disguised to resemble something close to interesting.
