The emotional moon doesn't know what it wants to be today, and perhaps you'll feel the same way. Luckily, you don't have to define a feeling in order to rise above it. Also notable: Neptune, the ruler of the realm of spirits, is currently at odds with Mercury, the messenger. If you're having trouble channeling Elvis today, you're not the only one.
ARIES (March 21-April 19). In an honest effort to help you, friends overstep established boundaries. Be tactful to avoid bruising a delicate ego. If there's a choice between taking issue with something and letting it go, do the latter.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Trying to get a loved one to change is a waste of time now. Model the behavior you'd like to see from others. At work, technical expertise is important, but interpersonal skills are what make the financial difference. Focus there.
GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Your vulnerability is wildly attractive, so don't be afraid to show it. Potential loves want to be needed. In regard to an investment, what works for friends is not necessarily right for you.
CANCER (June 22-July 22). A financial review is in order. Adopt some new rules. A fiscal makeover will also be good for your soul. Advice from a Capricorn or a Virgo is best taken literally and exactly.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). Loved ones may not mind being mired in minutia, but too many details irritate you to no end. Keep your attention on the broad strokes. Look for simple solutions. The simpler, the better.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 15). This year, you capitalize on the gifts and talents that are your birthright. An influx of money gives you the opportunity to buy lessons. You find the right teacher in June. Complications of romance make it all the more lovely in July, when you establish lasting bonds. Young people thrive with your help in August. Cancer and Aquarius people give you their all. Lucky numbers are: 8, 11, 3, 39 and 50.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're hard on yourself. Think of the good things you do each day, like smile at a stranger, wave at a baby, hold the door. These acts are pebbles thrown into a still pond, causing ripples with far-reaching positive effects.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Time is money, so don't waste either by letting others bend your ear with useless or negative information. Sign up for sports, dancing or other instructed lessons. This brings about luck through friendly connections.
SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). There's no point in feeling guilty now. A genius move: You accept the past in order to alter the future. Chances are, you're the only one who gives a lick about what happened.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). There's a question in your heart. It may be a rhetorical question, but if you leave too long of a pause after it, the universe thinks you want an answer ... and provides one.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). The one who loves you knows your secrets and, instead of thinking less of you, thinks more of you. You get the chance to extend the same compassion toward loved ones today.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). Want to stand out? Send a real note instead of an e-mail. Show up in person, if only for a moment, to say "hi." After you've done all that's required, ask if there's anything else you can do.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Financial success follows friendships with well-mannered individuals. Become versed in other cultures, and you'll attract the kind of friends who improve your business and make your life more beautiful.
ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "My problem is my boyfriend. It's been almost three years, and I still doubt his love for me. He doesn't show any affection toward me in public. He treats me as his old friend in front of other people. He says he just wants to act professional and doesn't want to do anything that older people would disapprove of. That makes sense, but I can't help but feel he's just not proud of me. Plus, he looks at other women when we're together. Sometimes we break up, but a few hours later, we get back together because he says he doesn't want to lose me. How can I change his attitude, and what can you say about our relationship? Lose him. Aries men can be wonderful, but sometimes it takes them a while to act maturely and learn the rules of love. He is terrified of being alone, and that is the only reason he stays in the relationship. The emotional scars that this relationship carries with it will be very damaging to you in the long run. He needs to learn to be alone, and you need to learn to set your standards higher. Break up with him now. If he breaks up with you, it will be much worse, because a Leo takes a longer time to heal when the other person does the breaking up.
CELEBRITY PROFILES: From TV's "Good Times" and "Different Strokes" to the chart-topping "Control" and "Rhythm Nation," Venus-ruled Janet Jackson is one "nasty girl" who gets what she wants. Like any Taurus, what she wants is the luxury life. I predict Jackson's next recording (appropriately titled "20 Years Later") will propel her back into the stratosphere of pop-star royalty.

I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado.
I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks.
Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know!
