These are the last days of the Taurus sun, so dig your heels into the ground, and grow roots from your ankles. When the Gemini sun takes over, you can be like a strong, tall tree in the wind -- at once mobile and immobile, knowing what it's like to live simultaneously in the earth and the heavens.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). You probably feel a lack of guidance. You're dealing with the sort of person who'd throw a drowning man both ends of a rope. Fill in the blanks with your imagination, and you're brilliant!

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Today's work goes off like a well-choreographed Broadway number. The music starts, you make a few moves, and your colleagues dance in unison. Evening is trickier, though, and requires improvisational skills.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). Creative and innovative activities are fraught with tension because it's all uncharted territory. Treat the problems with nonchalance. You're a seasoned pro, and these decisions come with the territory.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Artistic notions are seductive lately. As said in "The Threepenny Opera," "You can't eat poems with a fork and knife/you must have comfort for a happy life." It's the perfect night to cook for an underprivileged but talented friend.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). You're so used to coming up with new ideas lately that it's hard to stop. However, it's also too costly and time-consuming to invent everything you need. Observe your world, and use what you find.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 18). The world supports your wildest dreams this year, so think crazy, unreasonable and outrageous. The next seven weeks brings funding for your project. Take a vacation in August -- the longer your trip is, the better, as you need time to relax. The end of a personal struggle brings big love into your life in January. Cancer and Aries people adore you. Your lucky numbers are: 4, 28, 22, 39, and 40.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). Your team has seen better days. If you still treat them like they're the cream of the crop, the champions, the thoroughbreds, then at least they won't turn into nags. Soon, they'll make you proud again.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). While in the thick of a project, it is hard to see how it will possibly contribute to your overall picture, but don't worry so much. When it's right, it works out. Capricorn associates are lucky!

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). Procrastinating is too dangerous to your career. Once you figure out what you want, put it out there. There's nothing sadder than a dream you don't go after with 100 percent.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). Always on the cutting edge, you'll find the hippest, coolest way to say "I love you." It works so well for one person, you may use it on several. You rascal!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Friends may not come through for you with what they say they will, but they come through with something else. Try not to be exasperated. The new item may be just as helpful.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). You're making your so-called "big break" happen. Burn up the phone lines with queries, business calls and general "hey, remember me?" chats. You need to be on the minds of people who can help forward your goals.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). The stars show you parched for excitement, looking for new ways to quench your thirst for thrills. You could fall for the dangerous types -- the proud scoundrel or the committed seducer -- or, you could just go shopping.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTIONS: "I've been divorced for five years. My daughter and I were very close, and now she moved away. I've been very unhappy with life in general. I'm a Libra. Will I ever be happy again?"

Libra knows how to be a good friend, partner and mother. Your sign has the ability to almost fuse with loved ones, anticipating their needs and caring for them in an all-encompassing way. This is a wonderful way to love, but it can also be considered codependent. This recent move is important for your daughter's personal growth. She needs to learn how to be an independent woman. You're still spiritually close, though not physically. Send her your love from where you are instead of resenting her or taking this as a loss. The move is positive for you, too, as you're subconsciously readying yourself for living your own life -- not your life as experienced through your daughter. Yes, you will be happy again. Since you have a great need to care for others, the new "happy chapter" of your life begins when you involve yourself in the service of those in need. Check out programs like "Meals on Wheels" or other charitable causes in your area. The end of June sees you deeply involved, with a smile in your heart.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: With her dry wit and sharp sense of humor, comedian, writer and actress Tina Fey is the first female to head the prestigious "Saturday Night Live" writing team. A stubborn Taurus, Fey doesn't follow the rules, she makes her own. I see her writing and starring in more feature films within the next year -- a family-oriented film to coincide with the recent birth of her daughter, Alice.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew

Is Everybody In?

Ms. Giles currently lives in Colorado where she stars in her own private reality show. She writes aphoristic accounts of her life, taken completely out of context, and embellished with characters and situations disguised to resemble something close to interesting.
