The argument between Venus and Mars shows up in your relationship with the opposite sex. It's true that men and women don't speak the same language, but so what? Science proves that the bulk of communication is based in the body language and tone of the message, not in the actual words. Tune in to basic instincts to make yourself clear.

ARIES (March 21-April 19). Though intellectually you may know what's good for you, the heart makes its own rules. Tonight, a suit of armor might be required in order to fortify your affection against an irresistible scoundrel.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20). Nothing stresses you out. You're able to employ your sense of humor in the task of turning every snafu into an entertaining story for the friends. You have tons of those these days. Keep 'em laughing.

GEMINI (May 21-June 21). The human tendency is to relate to others based on your own experience. However, those you meet today will be so outside your realm of experience that the only way for you to relate is through your imagination.

CANCER (June 22-July 22). Parents are on your mind -- heal old wounds by being the first to forgive. Give up on normally strict relationship requirements. It's better to accept things how they are for now.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22). If you believe in magic, it happens. You'll get a platform to speak your wishes and state your cause. You have many fans, and at least one is in a high position. Let this person help you.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY (May 24). People want to take care of you, even spoil you, this year. You positively shimmer in the eyes of higher-ups. Use the perks you'll be given. A career shift at the beginning of the year is at first disconcerting, but remain flexible, and by February, you prevail with more money and greater job satisfaction. Pisces and Leo people give their whole heart to you! Lucky numbers are: 9, 12, 45, 39 and 35.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22). You're well-respected. So set your standards, and stick to them. You're not responsible for a loved one's happiness -- focus on your own, and others do the same.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 23). Your competitive instinct is fierce. You rise to the level of your competition, even if you have no idea what you're doing. Anything you can conquer in your mind can be conquered in the real world.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24-Nov. 21). You're so rational in your dealings with loved ones that they may start to feel you do not care. Work on demonstrating the depth of your emotion. Romance is in the personal touches you add.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). It's dangerous to assign people powers they do not posses. Remain patient with relationships (especially work-related ones) that are not going as anticipated. If you're realistic, you will be successful.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19). Being needy isn't always a negative. Today, it could be your strong point. If everyone were self-sufficient, this world wouldn't work at all. Depend on others, and let them depend on you.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18). If you keep procrastinating, this could be a sign that the project you're avoiding isn't quite right for you anyway. You'll find solutions in reading material or by talking with a Taurus.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20). Change is on the horizon, but you're still not sure if you really want it. The transition won't start until the contract is signed. Virgo has time- and energy-saving advice.

ASTROLOGICAL QUESTION: "Shall I continue my efforts to make a career in the music business? My family says to hang in there, but I want a wife, children and a house. How is that going to happen when I struggle with poverty every month? I was born Jan. 27, 1965."

The issue doesn't have to be as black and white as you're painting it in your mind. There's no reason you can't have a family and enjoy music as a career or as a pursuit. The big break you're waiting for could come in the form of several small breaks that keep you on a path of exploring yourself through music. Your sun is in very musical Aquarius, with Mercury and Venus in musical Capricorn, and Mars in musical Virgo. Have you tried finding a way to make a good living without entirely giving up your musical ambitions? Saturn in Taurus (also very musically creative) shows that you might have success with a little home-based business -- you'd be a wonderful landscape artist. Put your energy toward attracting work that's lucrative, but not time-consuming. Projects that satisfy creative needs while helping you pay the rent come along in June.

CELEBRITY PROFILES: Priscilla Presley, original rock-royalty, carries herself with grace and dignity, which hasn't always been easy, considering the world has been voraciously following her every move since she was a schoolgirl dating the most famous hip-swinging singer in the world. A family woman first and a celebrity second, I predict Presley will combine the two in an artistic endeavor this year.

FullMetal Alchemist (48)

FullMetal Alchemist"Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is Alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth."

3 Wise-asses (15)

3wiseassesWe're not that bright, even though in our own little world, we're geniuses. We like 80s hair bands and one-hit wonders, but among us we have respectable tastes, too. Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2. Pursuit of all things trivial is a lifestyle, not just a game. We like some sports, love other sports, and can find something to say about anything. We watch TV and movies and we've read a book or two, even a few classics (Yes, Classic Comics count!) We call it insight, you call it what you will.

Ravings, rantings, and gibberish. (36)

DrewWhat is up FoCo? I am a recent college graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead. After recieving my B.A. in English and Mass Communications this past August I moved down to Colorado. I enjoy long walks on the beach, candlelight dinners, and heavy metal. My hobbies include reading and writing, music, movies, and getting drunk. Some of my favorite contemporary authors include Bret Easton Ellis, Chuck Palahniuk, and Kurt Vonnegut. My top movies are anything directed by Kubrick. I enjoy listening to anything that rocks. Right now I am just trying to get to know Colorado and FoCo better. Mostly in order to find the best drink specials on each day that ends in Y. So if you know where I can get a cheap drunk on, let me know! --Drew
